Actually, it's similar to the chain of "your post isn't helping" you often see.

You know what I'm talking about:
- A post some negative one-liner in a thread.
- B calls out the one-liner saying that it's not improving the thread.
- A points out that B's post wasn't helpful either.
- C suggest that A should get out of the thread.
- D posts a one-liner in the same vein as A, obviously without having read any of A, B or C's posts.
- C freaks out with a long angry post at D not reading the thread and being wrong, risking a ban.
- B posts a one-liner face palm at the state of the thread and the forum in general.
- E writes a long detailed post in reply to C's rant, going almost entirely off-topic.
- F replies to E, and they get stuck in an independent exchange of walls of text that no one reads, except E and F, if even them.
- someone posts a short question related to the original topic, but no further replies.
- Thread dies out, original topic forgotten as the exchange between E and F draws out until even they get tired of it.
- E and F hook up in an erotic chat room.

In essence you commit the crime you are calling out by calling it out.
