Trying to view a thread page that contains my own post causes FC. For example, 1st page of this thread, with no post by me, is perfectly viewable, but since pages 2-3 have a post by me, it will FC. I have confirmed this by posting to other threads. No post by me = no FC. I then post and try to view that thread page, instant FC. Accessing "My posts" also causes FC, perhaps the issue is related?

So, I just realized there is a TLnet android app, so I'll post here my thoughts on it. First of all, it's awesome. But there are a few problems with it: - The loading dialog. It's annoying! Whenever I switch screens(ie. click on a link to a forum), it pops a dialog "Connecting to teamliquid... downloading content... preparing to show on phone" while the backscreen is darkened. I know this is all just aesthetic, But I think it would be better if it just showed a spinning circle or a progress bar, like it's done for the Facebook app. The dialog gives the feeling that something is wrong, when it's just stating the obvious. - There is no subscribed threads link on the MyTLnet page! Come on, I love that feature! ![]() The MyTLnet page also lacks the 'Blog' link(which should be useful for those who use it) and there is no way to edit your Profile via the app, although it's possible via browser. - Crashes a lot, my phone is a Motorola XT317 with Android 2.3.7(I don't know how to/if it's possible to update it). I'm not sure why, but it could be because of a slowass 128Kb internet(non-3G phone internet)? I send a report every crash. - Clicking on a TL post link brings me to the browser. Say I'm on the TL Mafia subforum, and the Mafia games usually use a lot of post links in it. IMO when it detects a tl.net link, it should just redirect there via the app instead of opening the browser. I love the app, and I'll continuing using it(esp. because it's lighter to use than the browser). Please keep up your work!

I also found that in order to browse threads (not logged in of course), I had to disable smart parsing.

I planned that, but I'm still thinking on how I want to do it. The subscribed thread is still young we didn't have time to look at it. Same as the dialog still thinking how it will be integrated. About the crashes, I have 5 reports since the new thread layout is out (since around feb 26th). One of them is me, but I haven't looked into it yet. It's hard to work with just the report when it's crashing in one particular thread because I can't know which thread it is and thus can't reproduce it. So if you have example of thread crashing the app give them here and I'll be able to correct these particular bugs. I'm pretty sure you don't have the correct version. Smart parsing doesn't do anything anymore. You should be able to find the latest version here. https://market.android.com/details?id=org.opensourcetlapp.tl
