Hey guys, I keep kinda falling in an out of being interested in Starcraft. When the game first came out, I was all about it, then after awhile I just stopped caring, now I'm into it again and I think a big reason why I lost interest in the first place is because I didn't have anyone to talk to about what I was excited about.
Obviously I'm from Colorado, and I'm looking for other people around here to play game and also hang out with. I live in Colorado Springs specifically, so the more people from there I could meet up with, the better.
SC2 is my first trek into RTS territory, so I'm pretty bad at the game. Bronze league as a matter of fact... but my goal right now isn't so much getting better at the game then it is making friends to play the game with. All my current friends are barely into gaming at all, let alone Starcraft, so making some new friends would be pretty awesome.
Definitely wanna get better at the game, but that's not #1 priority right now. So if there are any Colorado specific SC2 websites/forums, those would be things I'd like to know about. And if there's any regular meet-ups that would be cool to know also. Like there are guys I play fighting games with who meetup every Saturday, so something similar to that for SC2 would be awesome.
Not really sure what else to say, just looking to find people within my own community to play with basically. Hope to get some replies!

There's quite a few CO players. There was just a little LAN tourney with some hardware prizes held up at CU in Boulder last Saturday. Check out channel CSC2, lots of CO players there.

There are CO players.. even the Springs has had 3 different barcraft events.

You missed it man. SPLAT from UCCS held a 250 man lan in CO springs. Big starcraft 2 tournament, where were u at? :D

yeah we had like a 30 man tourny in boulder with like 60 people attending, was pretty awesome.. we have a massive community here, don't know what you're talking about OP lol

Yeah, I'm in the Springs. I just don't know where I should go to meet the people who play. If there's a meet-up at some point, I'd definitely like to know about it so I can try and be there.

That's awesome. I would definitely be down to hang out. Its cool that a lot of people at uccs are into SC2 but i don't go to school.. would like to meet them though, for sure.

And we also have an in-game chat channel, CSC2 (be sure to go to your bnet options an d enable the channel auto-rejoin feature so that everytime you log-in you're back in the channels you were in)
