SC2 is only at the forefront because of circumstance of foreigners jumping from BW to SC2 and all of TL's players transitioning as well. For an extremely long time it was only Brood War that was hosted with, this site lived and breathed BW, and would have not existed if not for the presence of the Korean scene. If TL wants to become a pro-gaming and e-Sports portal, then it has to put all e-Sport related fora under a single banner THEN split the different pro-gaming scenes under it. DUH, I'm not retarded. There are only a few who really have no clue what this website was before SC2 was released. My point is that SC2 is the forefront because the team liquid team is heavily invested into SC2, not BW. Who outside of korea actually plays BW for money? I'm not even trying to compare SC2 to BW but all I'm saying is that SC2 is clearly favored among people outside of korea and this website is catered to that crowd. Yea BW is a great game and will always live on as a great competitive game, but TL is playing SC2 for money so it only makes sense that it has the most attention. The site was built on BW but is carrying on as a SC2 website. The BW section will always be there.

It's about the fact that a link to the forum for an unreleased game unrelated to Starcraft is pretty much in everyone's face, but to access the SPL grand final live report thread you have to go all the way down to Blogs basically. -_-

I would for example remove the entire SC2 section, Tech Support and BW strategy, LOL, Fan Clubs, User streams and Liquid Team News from my side bar. While considering removing some other sections as well. Will post a suggestion in website feedback. Oh and I like the Dota 2 section. Will probably use it a bit now and in the future (if the game is good).

I'd like to be able to remove it from the sidebar if such a thing is possible (I really disagree with the way the game has been received recently; I won't bash it or anything but I'd hate to see its name everyday on my favorite website) LoL was not just chosen recently. we used to have a thread just like HoN in sports and games. it moved extremely quickly and essenitially was always at the top. fakesteve(or some other mod) decided it would be worth it to make it into a hidden subforum which we have had for a long time now. I dont see how there should be any more reason to have a dota2 subforum than a LoL one that already has a devoted TL community. personally Im indifferent to having the subforums in the sidebar or hidden. doesnt really matter to me.

The BW section might always be there, but e-Sports growing and an unsure but definite catering of TL to people who play MOBA games by having its own LoL and DotA 2 sections, I think it's high time that people are given more options on how they want to read up on the site. All that BW fans are asking for is that there's some flexibility in viewing the website (e.g. having the BW section before SC2 as a selectable option; being able to choose which game sections are easily view-able etc.) instead of feeling consigned to the dust-heap despite their presence being the force that let TL have a solid base to build what the SC2 section is today. It's just an appeal for usability from a segment of the community that feels marginalized after having done so much.

Also, one event, even if it is for 1million dollars, does not justify its own forum section. However if we're going to have these, I'd like to request a CS 1.6 section, since that at least is a longtime e-sport worth noting.

CS 1.6 is gone after CS:S comes out. Q3A is gone after Q4 comes out. So many predictions...

TL I've never been more worried for your future. First losing Huk, now phasing out SC altogether? Shame on you, TL. Shame on you. + Show Spoiler + Seriously, how obvious does trolling need to be?
