Any idea when the next LAN will be? Sounds like you guys are in process of picking a new place and that may delay it, but I'm planning to attend.

Next LAN will be hosted by itsgosu I believe maybe a week before MLG Raleigh? Not sure, this is what I thought was being talked about, itsgosu will confirm.

Another LuckyFool/Torenhire lan won't happen before September.

@Arkansassy haha yea i suck when it comes to pronouncing peoples names T_T and I think Ipp just has a webcam attached to his computer that he uses I was using a HD flip so no lighting for my camera sadly

Maybe one of these times I'll bring all my stuff and cast some of the event ^^

It's Gosu is looking at hosting a LAN at a new location after MLG Raleigh....probably Sept 3. Since HwangSin will be making an appearance at MLG Raleigh with us, we're trying to figure out his schedules and have him come to the DC LAN to meet the local players and possibly do some showmatches??? What do you guys think?

There are a few reasons I didn't go to the last LAN. First is I've been working 7 days a week for 8 weeks, tired as hell. After that it's all on the LAN center.

Standing up to get food, watch the cast, or watch someone else play and getting locked off my computer is frustrating. It says no smoking inside before 8, and while I understand letting the caster do so (and he even did his smoking off into a back room!), it seemed like there were a lot of people deciding that standing right outside the open door to the building was fine. Then the wind blows it straight inside! After 8 it's pretty awful as expected. Then the inability to play sc2 on medium, or even some computers on low and hold 60, 30, 20 FPS during fights.

I don't think I'll be showing up to Cybergrounds again. Hopefully the itsgosu crew gets another venue because I've had great fun with the actual Starcraft part of the LANs. Even getting casted being stomped by Avilo was cool

I don't know what MorningMasume's beef with the guy is, he's certainly not a "major asshole" or a "prick" ... I don't really know what all he's talking about - but I don't doubt he's a nice guy. However each LAN the proverbial grip gets tightened more and more and it's lame.

The guy's personality and attitude aside, I can comfortably say that we enjoyed our time at Cybergrounds when Mr Kim was around a lot better.
