It's supposed to be...fun.

WHAT!!! FUN!!!
http://nerfnow.com/comic/285
gtfo of my game!!!
Note: Yes I understand this makes no sense as it's the event being fun not the game itself. But I love this comic too much to not jump at the chance to post it here.

Well if we get one more we can do an "over 9000" joke. Regardless, I know the tournament is for "fun" but you've got money up there, which makes it a bit more serious. People enjoy watching good games, I feel, as much as they enjoy playing in a tournament. So that won't dissuade people from coming.
Edit: English, Mother F****er, I don't speak it.

There's always the possibility of an online-only separate tournament, run in the same way, during the same time frame.. As if it were a parallel event for people who want to be seeded higher for the next instance of the tourney like this they join, whether it be online or at CC?

I'd still show up, but that's because i like being a nuisance.
As for food...Depends how far you are willing to walk. Most likely if it's picnic garden I won't go. Really don't like the quality of the food there, hell only buffets i go to nowadays are Sushi buffets, and only if they serve sashimi. Salmon. Salmon. Salmon. more salmon.
