Seems to me that the text gives a right-of-way to people with a few thousand comments. I could post a couple thousand comments by the end of this week, using a bot of some kind ... but would that give me the ability to post on our strategy forum with 100% respect? I look around in this site and realize that the top posters bring a lot to the table. But many of them bring little to nothing. I just don't see why we have to appear elitist and put them up on the pedestal. | ||

If you have 1500+ posts, start flaming someone randomly, and a mod looks through your post history and see just a bunch of useless one-liners, then they'll ban you. If you lurk through the ban thread then you'll see a few occurrences of this happening. | ||

Certainly read Falcynn's post, but also I believe that posts accumulated too rapidly don't carry much weight unless they contain great content. If you just registered recently and accumulated 2000 posts that aren't notable at all (as opposed to some people who receive a star for their great commitment/dedication to providing content to the community), then the commandment barely applies to you at all. | ||
