Commandment 9 seems to contradict Commandments 3 and 4 putting me into a state of cognitive dissonance. On the surface, it seems like a formality designed to ensure new members actually read the commandments. However, does this post constitute a contribution of something new? I suppose it eventually boils down to the definition of "significant" as outlined in Commandment 2.
This post also serves as an introduction of sorts through which every member's first impression of me is established: a rather daunting task.
Looking back through the previous couple of pages, I gained even more respect for this community when I saw someone post "TLDR" and underneath it: "User was banned for this post."
