ur right tho sometimes agreement, just showing numbers is fine. it works. as long as its from someone who we know who the fuck it is. seeing a randomguy39491 agreeing with something is just spam. sorry but it is. unless ive seen a post by them somewher else that actually says something on its own, i dont welcome their agreement comments or whatever else, its spam in that case, but of course this is only my opinion what i really was trying to get at tho is that i dont like topics that just get people to list their response with no discussion going on usually except random ones that start and stop on each page, that just totally sucks. i.e. "what color do you like" and then for 9 pages we have every person posting what color they like, with the occasional "lol" or whatever. maybe some people actually enjoy that sort of thing but i at least think it could be quarantined to a single forum. there has to be some way to discourage non-discussion as it really does hurt discussion IMO because you end up with 2/3s of a page between fruitful participation and then people give up after turning the page a few times, makes ppl miss the discussions more, threads become these 9 page monsters that no one reads before posting, and then they get closed after a couple flamewars so i think the only real way to get a true discussion, in some reliable way, is to use PM more often. i hope ppl use PM when they see someone they wish to talk to about something. i think ppl should spend more time PMing multiple persons instead of trying to find a topic to post "ya" or "i like red" in | ||
