Also for other members of the site, you can actually find the hierarchy and list of staff members on this thread: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=80495, hidden in the oft overlooked "website feedback" subforum.

But damn, 230k people on a good day? Jeez. It might have been 230 unique visitors a day ~8-10 years ago maybe :D

I sometimes cannot believe my eyes to see what kind of posts are punished with warnings or bans. Maybe it is one of those things you need to do on a website that relies heavily on community involvement, I find it too harsh though. I sometimes cannot believe my eyes to see what kind of posts are unpunished without warnings or bans, especially in the SC2 forums. I still rage when I think about the "who invented APM" topic when after 4 pages of warnings/TBs there were people DEFENDING those who read first sentence of OP and wrote "I like/dislike razer grear". And yesterday some guy even created topic about it, lol. Just incredible. You will get used to and appreciate it. As zatic said in the interview, there's correlation between "strict" moding and good/friendly atmosphere among the community.

As zatic said in the interview, there's correlation between "strict" moding and good/friendly atmosphere among the community. I was about to say this as well. The admins and monitors have been very lenient ever since we got word of Starcraft 2. They changed their strict policy and temp-bans are the norm now. If you read half the filth I do I cannot believe how some people get off so easy. I've been banned quite a few times for pointing out halfwit trolls, but what can you do about it. Nothing. It's their house.
