I'm glad I made it out to this event. thanks to Kullosus who came from Barrie to pick me up from Newmarket. He was one of the guys helping out with the MC HWAITING cheers :D Also would like to thank tfgecko for driving me back up to my place. I was talking to Kull about how great this community is, how we all band together so well to help eachother out. Not gonna get all lovey dovey but this community is truly great and I hope it grows further in the coming seasons.

Thanks to chromate for putting all this on. Was glad to have a chance to talk to you while we drove you to your house to pick up your stuff. I was really glad to see the HuK - Idra match, it really was great and one of the highlights of the night. As opposed to what the person above me said, it's definately worth checking out. While Idra didn't play his best, HuK certainly brought his A game. Both players deserve thanks for taking the time to play the grudge match. The tourney was also great to watch and the commentators were actually pretty good. The MC who I don't know the name of did an excellent job of providing humour and getting everyone involved in the early hours of the morning. So kudos to him, whatever his name was.

I'm glad that everyone seemed pretty into it and were very friendly. Next time though, I'll probably get seats in the middle because it started to be a pain in the neck sitting so close to the front

Awesome mic work Micro, was and honor to share the spotligiht with ya.

Everyone that missed it, wtf, get your ass down, get your buddies down, get their buddies down, do it. Epic all aroun. Though learned we have to play all live games prior the to the gsl just to be fair to the players. Mad props to REQSlaneD (champ 2ce in a row now) huyHh, Ballertron and MooMooMan for playing it out live with cold hands and magicly making every live game a pvt to match the gsl hah... extra respect to SlaneD and huyHh for being awesome enought to squeeze out that finals match at 7 am.

Of course thanks for idRa and HuK lending the event some big name support, and artossis for making us all laugh with the shoutout then 'bet they're all like 'yeeeaAAAHHHH right now"

Thanks for giving me a chance to be semi-funny in front of ya all.

...So much to say but even with some sleep still only semi brain working, smoke coming out of ears... uggh.

it was kinda like that.

but the crowd was full of energy, great times. Some people may have been pissed at the yelling at the screen, but thats part of the fun of seeing it live in a crowd.

Did any here what they said for the shoutout?
i jsut heard him say "and in toronto..." then everyone went nuts.

regardless, we saw it on a screen just as big, if not bigger then they had in the actual GSL stadium in korea. so sweet

Sadly we weren't setup to record Audio/video. If I can get my hands on the replays I can re-cast them but obviously it won't be anywhere near the same.

I was sitting right beside slained and hyunh during the huk vs idra matches and oGsMC vs Rain.

Thanks to everyone who came, I for one think that the whole event was a lot better than the first, definitely open to suggestions but I think everything was a lot smoother and the tournament I found to be awesome, talk about high level play. Unfortunately due to the time of year with exams and all we ended up with only about 80 people. I wont get into it but long story short this event was very costly for me. The good news is that I really think I can get sponsorship for next time. Anyway I'll add a bunch of stuff to the OP soon and keep you guys informed.

Thanks to everyone who helped out and I hope you all had a wonderful time.
