I'm a bit interested to know what kind of facilities your club is using? I've seen in previous posts that you meet at the Bishop Annex; is it a computer lab, or do you all bring your own laptops/pc's? Also, I'd like to take this opportunity to invite anyone interested to NFusion; a gaming cafe I own and operate in Ville St. Laurent; right next to Cote Vertu metro. The place has existed for the last five years but I just bought it this past November; made a ton of changes to the place; its really gaming oriented now; we have 20 Phenom powered black edition quad core CPUs with ATI HD 5770 GPU; all reserved for GAMING ONLY. We're open 24 hours; and have all sorts of gamers. I particularly have an interest in Starcraft II; and am hoping to run in-house tournaments starting next tuesday; every tuesday. The hope is, we do a ladder style event that goes on for several weeks; at the end of which players play for cash prizes. To start things off though we'll give away free time to players who win their matches on those tournament nites. Like I said, I want to make it a weekly thing; with the final hope though that within one or two tournament seasons I could assemble a team to sponsor for official tournaments. We already have tournaments going on every Monday and Wednesday for CS and DotA respectively and am sure that we could accomodate another nite of tournaments in our schedule. I look forward to possibly meeting some of you in the near future; also I would be happy to accomodate any of you players should you ever want to play SC2 on ULTRA settings with no lag ![]()

I will redirect your inquiries, invitation to him. Thank you very much for your interest. EDIT: you lose a lot of interest when you copy and paste nearly the same message in many Montreal-related topics.

My apologies if I ofended you Torte de Lini; that wasnt my intention to copy and paste in multiple threads. In fact I went to the trouble of posting my two messages thus far in two different thread sections (one was posted in SC2 tournaments section, bumping an old thread regarding LAN) and the other was this one which was in the TL Community section. Heh; I was actually trying to avoid looking like I was just bumping up a whole bunch of topics so I chose only two; and would like to think they were for the most part two different messages and not just a copy paste. Really, I meant no offense, just trying to reach out and touch a few people in a non sexual way.

If you're looking for good publicity, you can contact LANETS and perhaps get a small spot as a sponsor or something: http://2011.lanets.ca/ A few professional players go to this event and LANETS garners to a lot of players of various games. I contact Daniel about the whole affair and as soon as he responds, I'm sure you'll get a reply too! To answer your first question: We're currently being provided computers from our student union to use at the school. The details are still being sorted out, but we hope to achieve some form of an agreement. Lastly, UQAM and ULaval are both trying to gather more players and members from their own respective universities, both places you might find some guys interested as well! I hope this helps, we'll get back to you very soon! You can also contact us at Concordiastarcraft@gmail.com! No worries, no offense, I suppose I came off a bit blunt or rude, I apologize as well!

The advertising we did was a hit. A few haters, but overall, I say we achieved what we wanted and will be doing the same in two weeks! We hope some of you guys roll on by and give us a shout-out!

The next meeting is at 5:45, same place, same day! Additionally, we're thinking of doing a Korean BBQ to better reunite our new members with our older ones. But we need your input and availabilities: http://csc.forumup.com/viewtopic.php?p=2808&mforum=csc#2808

They do however have pick on a stick; which is basically a pogo with crazy potato bits sticking out from it; think really painful dildo but tasty!
