Gay StarCraft Players - Page 313

Don't post in this thread to say "gay gamers are like everyone else, why do they have a special thread?" It is something that has been posted numerous times, and this isn't the place for that discussion. For regular posters, don't quote the trolls.

Speaking with somebody honestly and confidentially can often help ease anxiety and make the whole process easier for you mentally and emotionally. Also, doctors usually will tell you to speak with a therapist before the whole transition process (in the U.S. anyway; I don't know about elsewhere). Don't let the depression keep you down, keep your eye focused on what you want (and more importantly what you are). Even if its a small comfort, people in this thread are with you all the way! Good Luck! ^.^ I know they are! The IRC too! :D I've also found subtle thinks I can do to help ignore the depression, so I'm just tryin' to keep positive and on top of it all! :D

I'm kind of here to try to meet some people and see if anyone would reach out to me. I'm gay, always have been, and have never came out to anyone in my life. I'm almost 26 now and no one in my life knows that I'm gay. I don't have any gay friends. Never had a boyfriend. This is the only time I've ever written the words I'm gay to anyone. I've never even told anyone online, no one in my real life or my online life knows. I've had some girlfriends for a short time in the past but obviously when you're gay stuff like that doesn't work out. So most of my entire life I've just been single. I've had girlfriends so I've had sex with some girls before but of course it did nothing for me. I do love girls and am attracted to them other than you know, what's between their legs. So that's why I gave it a try. But other than that I've been alone all this time. Living the easy way pretending to be straight as to not stir up conflict with friends and family. Tho if I had a gay friend or something I'm sure I would have gotten into the scene but I just don't know any gay people, never met any openly gay people that I clicked with. Just by chance, because of the circles that I run in. I've never had anyone gay in my life or met anyone to maybe go to the gay bar with me or had any methods or meeting other's so I figured hey, why not try this thread? Maybe someone lives near me or maybe someone wants to skype or maybe I'll just get some advice in this thread. Anyway, just looking for some advice I guess. Thanks (^_^; ) congrats, youve done more with a girl than many teamliquid straight guys ![]()

Even though I have never been an active part of this community and don't really know anyone here, I follow it pretty closely and it seems great. I am absolutely certain you will find some good friends and a lot of support on the IRC or also at this forum. I kind of can relate to your story, I am a bit of a loner too. Noone in my real life know I am anything but straight, not even my former best friend who I am madly in love with. It just seems easier to go with what everyone assume. At least when being bi. Best of luck with coming out to parents and transitioning. Aww! Thanks! I'll be sure to keep in the IRC a lot more than I've ever been! :D

I've been watchin' his TL profile and he hasn't posted since 20/9/2012 (his post in this thread was not the last post he did since disappearin').

personally I don't do a lot of outside physical exercise. try to run/do yoga/lift/soccer/SOMETHING at least once or twice a week, but I spend most of my time in the kitchen or the library right now until i actually get out of fundamental classes. That being said, a good cook moves their ASS in the kitchen, so it's not like i'm completely unphysical in my daily routines.
