There are lots of other cheap hostels all around the city, and the Gamescom site is at a major train/bus hub, so easy and fast to reach from almost anywhere. Tickets include public transportation afaik.
If you message a hostel just ask how long it takes to get to Messe / trade fair- they will know.

Anyone knows about cheap accomodation? Im moving next wek to Hamburg so i have to save some money but i would love to go!!!!! Anyone staying there that would want to share room or something to make it cheaper?

EDIT: One question, do i only have to buy an entry card for the gamescom? Or do i also need to buy a pass or something for the IEMs?

Wow, this sounds awesome. Would really love to drop by. I'm pretty sick right now, though, so i'm not so sure if i will be able to. I'll PM you tomorrow if i'm feeling any better.

btw: I have been at that restaurant last time i visited cologne. It's a nice place and the food is really good, so that's definitely a good choice
