I have a couple questions:
Can I bring friends that just want to watch? A couple friends said they'd want to go and watch but not if they have to pay.
Do you have to bring your own computer? Or is that just a recommendation?
hmmm patrick want to email sean about spectators and see if they can't get in for a cheaper price i guess?

Yes pls and thank you.
Vids from first tourn will be up this afternoon. Looks like I made some of them just a few seconds too long and youtube didn't like it.
That's sad... well at least I may not get booted from the tourney so early this time. In other news, your match against him on Metalopolis (game 2) has been added to the playlist.
Sorry joe is out of icu and in his own room. I was there on Monday and he's talking and understanding what we say. He's also joking around and remembers things so that is great news.

Even if you manage to sucker 20 people into going to this, thats 600$ that you would spend on food for everyone and to the LAN center? Sorry but no one is going to show up for for a tourney to make what, 60$ when the LAN center could pull in a potential half grand. Good job on trying to scam your entries man, big ups.
I'm gonna play a game of number with you and you see if you can follow along. Game play(access to all systems) = $6/hr or $25/5hr Party is 12 hours, so let's go with the cheapest of the two giving us $62/12hr instead of $72/hr (I really don't have to go past this)
Pizza = $12/lg Drinks = $1.25/ea Tourney buy-in $10 (out of the $40) So say you eat a whole pizza (1 topping) in the 12hr period and maybe 4 drinks for a total of $27
So by the way, you didn't place in the tourney, so you ended up spending $89
LAN overnighter = $40 I want you to tell me how the hell saving $49 on a fun night is a scam.
What im getting at is, not everyone that shows up to this, is gonna wanna spend the whole day there. Most people when they are knocked out of a tourney, tend to save the rest of the hours of daylight, to navigate there way home. So for the people who JUST show for the tourney, they're forced to spend 40$, when 10 of it goes to the pot.
Valid point. But your original post came off as blasting the tourney as a whole. Personally, if I was only coming for the tourney, I would wait for the next daytime one was to play in.
