I haven't read the thread.

Suggestions:
- The text doesn't fit properly. If I turn the screen horizontally and then back vertically, the text will shrink in size but it still doesn't fit on the screen. I'm sure you're aware of this but I'm including it for completion.
- PM system would be nice. Ability to read / send new PMs.
- Search function would be nice.
- There are a lot of other forums (staff) that I would like to be able to read as well. Maybe you can do something to include these forums if someone has access to them. If you need the names of the forums, I can give them to you (ie: show_part=37 : TL Community, etc.)
- Moderator tools. Again, you'd have to work with staff on this but it would be nice to be able to moderate from an iPhone.

Other than that I think it's pretty great.

I LOVE this app so much, the only issues I have is that when the phone is in landscape the text is just slightly too wide to view the whole post without scrolling left to right on every line, which makes it extremely annoying. If you could please change this so that the app automatically formats the text to the width of the screen it would be brilliant, I would pay for the app.

The app is indeed pretty nice, but as Chill mentioned the text doesn't fit properly most of the time which makes it (sorry) a pain to use. So in the end I still go back to using Safari as it allows me a custom zoom level and doesn't require me to scroll for every line of text.

Also nice to have would be the Calender with upcoming events/streams and a Search function. But fitting text is definitely the number one priority!

iPhone is by far the largest app market, and in situations where there is only 1 guy working hard at an app, he's likely to only make it for iPhone to reach the most people.

He may get around to other platforms if he ever has the time, but I highly doubt it unless he gets help.

Android OS has more phones in the wild than iOS devices.

More on topic. If you ever decide to go with a web interface instead I'll be there. Having a separate app for each site I go to is a little lame.

Android has much more spec fragmentation than iPhone, so it's harder to manage app compatibility. Also, it's unlikely Android surpasses all of iOS, since iPod Touch sells way better than iPhone and uses the same iOS and apps. Android may have surpassed iPhone in monthly sales a few months back, when everyone was waiting for the iPhone 4 and the Nexus One, Incredible and EVO 4G came out, but yearly numbers will likely swing back in iPhone's favour.

The fix for the text size in app has been approved/released. The icon has also been updated. Landscape mode for posts has been temporarily disabled. It will be re-enabled in the next release.

As Zzoram mentioned, I'm working on the app in my spare time. Unfortunuately, I don't have time to learn android programming. There seems to be a lot of demand for it so I'm sure some one will pick it up.

-Allowing us to log-in to comment would be great instead of just browsing, not sure how difficult this would be to implement.
-For some reason it will randomly crash on me. No big issue since it's a light app, but it still happens. Hopefully an update can fix it? (running on iPhone 4 with latest firmware).
-If a thread is maybe 4+ pages long, would there be a way to skip to whatever page you wanted? Or at least a few at a time instead of either 1 at a time or all the way to the end?

Overall really like it.. Great work and thank you!

hell yes. Thank you for making this. Just downloaded it. Looks great already, and I'm sure it will only get better. I wish I knew how to code so I could lend a hand. I know you are awash with suggestions so I'll only make one.

- change the font to whatever TL uses

The upcoming version will have the TLPD. I've fixed a few bugs and crash issues, so it will also be more stable.

Logging in and posting may come after that. It isn't difficult to do on the iPhone. It all depends on the creation of web services. If they are created, I'll go ahead and add it into the iPhone. TL staff has been pretty busy lately, so I'm not sure if it will happen. It is certainly a feature I would like to have.

Can you please update the text size? It's basically unusable to me in its current state - you have to scroll back and forth just to read a single line.
