So Tyler and I thought it would be cool to gather some TL.netters while he's visiting San Antonio and grab some legit pizza, brought to you by JWD. If anyone lives around the San Antonio area or wants to come down for the day to eat out, that would be cool.
There are two different restaurants to choose from: Luciano and Pizzeria Dough. Leaning more toward Luciano at the moment, but I've been hearing some great stuff about Pizzeria Dough. Check em out and let us know what you think. We're thinking about going sometime mid-June. Official date to be posted soonish.

I'm not too sure if Tyler would be able to hang out for longer than the meal, but for the rest of us, is there anything you guys would wanna do? I feel like we should do something since a few of you guys are traveling a few hours to come down. Any ideas?

Depending on the date I could try to drive down from Dallas.
Edit: After checking google maps it would be about 6 hours both ways, which although I'm used to a 13 hour drive to school, gas money is better spent on books .

Yeah a few other people are also doing a 3 hour drive. I want the trip to be worth it though haha, so I'm wondering if there's anything else you guys would want to do. I might be able to have some people at my house for the night if necessary but I'm not sure about that yet.

Dough's ok, but we've got much, much better places to eat here! If you guys want some freaking delicious food from places that aren't packed by tourists, you guys should check out guillermo's (italian, hands down best pasta salad ever, and burgers, pasta, and pizza, are amazing aswell. I recommend a tony or the jalapeno bacon burger, freaking delicious.) The Milam diner on the first floor of the milam building is a pretty well hidden gem of ours too, best chocolate malt in the world so ive heard (not a big malt guy so i wouldnt know) but the burgers... Freaking amazing. Only thing with them is that its a legit diner, so it closes at like 5pm. We've got plenty of other places too.

As far as suggestions go... Big Lou's Pizza: Location isn't as good as Dough Pizzeria, but they have HUGE pizzas (36" or 42"). And the pizza is pretty good if you like thin, greasy pizza.
It takes a while to cook 1 huge pizza (~45 minutes) and they're pretty busy (~45 minute wait on a Saturday afternoon), so it would give us time to chat. Then again, if we get more than about 6-7, one gigantic pizza probably won't be enough. I'm not sure about price... Probably around $12 (includes gratuity and drink) per person if 6 people share one 42". I might be a little off on price/wait times. We went back in March.

The pizza place in the OP sounds great good decision to go there. I'm kind of a pizza buff (at least for different places in new york) so I'm glad to see good pizza in other parts of the country.

i never see cops on 35 ive travels back n forth at least 15 times at all times of the day and i just assume its because if cops gave tickets to people on 35 between austin and sa it would demotivate the ones who work in one city but live in another. idk just me.

For sure. I told indecisive I have a vent and theres like 6 of us from
san antonio that are playing the beta a few weeks ago but i think
that was before he got a key. The only reason why they didnt want to
go to the meet up was really because they dont play bw and thought
thats what we would do. One of the guys loves nony too i felt it was dumb
reason to miss a possible once in a life time meet up.
