In other news, my housemates have used all my internet on the pr0nz. After having spent 20 minutes convincing allied bots to attack a freaking tower after I have killed all the enemies, it may be some time before I complain about human teammates again. | ||

In hon you would forfeit at 15 because they probably got crushed. In dota it happens in 99% of my games where I don't call mid. If this was my first moba I'd definitely just quit, but luckily I can see the comedy in it. No real surprise that LoL has a bajillion more players than dota. Also for some reason in dota games that are like 65 kills to 10 take 45minutes to end. | ||

The reason lol has a lot more players is because it is easier, it was released earlier and it is popular in asia. | ||

No you're right, I wonder why they don't just random their heroes in competitive play? every hero is viable so there would be no % lower chance of them losing! Oh Puppey randomed storm? that's fine I'm sure he can play him well so he should go mid. Even in ranked, the players are supposed to be relatively equally matched. If one person has played 200 games of storm and the guy they're facing is playing their 2nd game of random whatever, who are you going to bet on having the better game? The guy who randomed is obviously not doing their best to win the game. One of the reasons LoL is more popular is because Riot at least got their community to care about trying to win in ranked. | ||
