Then there's the fact that the game doesn't discriminate who people party with, so there will always be people new to the game queuing with friends far more experienced, or vice versa. It's incredibly unrealistic to expect any sort of matchmaking to give you equally skilled teammates 100% of the time, just not possible with dota. It's not like Starcraft where you're playing 1v1 and the vast majority of players stick to one race when they ladder. | ||

Even when not directed towards me it takes all the fun out of the game. One game you end up with sociable people who use mic and don't rage when we are behind. and then a game full of people trowing shit at each other for screwing up while obviously ignoring their own fault's. Be a boss tide whole fucking game nailing people left and right. while they bicker about everything. miss one fucking ult the whole game loss is attributed to the scrub tide that has equal farm to our main carry. never mind his calls about the alch midas running around farming. I am starting to hate people that hail from certain country's on-line. | ||

Tough I am making progress in that department. When I am frustrated I usually comment on their play and try to analyze what went wrong while being annoyed. I am told I come off as a dick. Just yesterday we had a 4 stack running and due to a fight that broke out between two of our players and the random. the 3th bailed out of the game and team speak because it was so toxic. after that I played devils advocate a bit trying to explain why he bailed on the game wile these guys are still going at it and now directing it at me. one of the guys actually went personal and berated me. I eventually took offense when he started with some colorful vagina analogies and what not. I told him to "act like a man" and that was pretty much it. Dota is a hell of a drug man. Unless we stop at a win we never land the plane in one piece. and if it is a bad night ? O boy we crash and burn baby. | ||

TBH I'm very fortunate to play with the stack I do. It's made dota a lot better for me. Makes it rough when your stack isn't on though  | ||

First game I get randomed...I can't even remember. I repick. Tinker. Our Omniknight disconnects a few minutes in, ragequit I think, probably in response to Magnus. We play on a little. Magnus comes mid. Pings a million times on the Undying that is there and then completely screws his skewer. He's dancing around in the zombies not making it clear at all whether he wants to go on to the half health Undying so I presume he wants to try. I push forward, rocket and try to laser. Get screwed by zombies whilst he does NOTHING. Then, of course, I get yelled at by him "what are you DOING omg noob"; then I point out his skewer and he's like "whatever, muted, reported". Screw that, I quit since the game was safe to leave. Second game. I pick Necro. End up mid vs Sniper (again actually, I was Tinker vs Sniper before, was wrecking him). Go ahead against him forcing him out of lane. I knew it was going to be a bad game after Leshrac started by going "we're screwed, no carry" when we had Necro and Tiny; followed up by me buying and placing wards (myself of course, because nobody else will buy) and literally the moment I place the first "Necro get wards and place them". Zero map awareness on this guy. Team feeds like crazy. Specifically they feed Riki and let Nyx snowball too. The ENTIRE other team is basically invisible since Sniper and Furion get Lothars and we still never seem to have enough detection. Miserable excuse for a game drags out 50 minutes. Third game. I'm Lion supporting Sniper. We do ok. Until Batrider starts ganking. I'm pretty much the only on on the team buying support items beyond the courier for at least 30 minutes even with a Tide and Rubik on team. They didn't even buy a damn mek. Rubik went Pipe. I get instagibbed by this point, somehow Timbersaw has been feeding. Ursa is just unstoppable and ten levels above me at this point. I just quit out as they're taking our mid rax. No point in delaying it further. Game ended about a minute and a half later. | ||

Everyone blames me for the loss. Not the 1 - 10 ES that gets caught solo by their entire team again and again. Not the no bottle superstar invoker who couldn't hit a spell or make a gank happen to save his life. Not the Ursa blinking into 5 enemies while pinging us like mad as he gets instagibbed. | ||
