Sadly, agreed. My MMR is taking a dump thanks to these "pros". There's usually one on each team, and the other side gets fed quicker because I'm usually playing a support. ._.
When I play a carry hero, I see 3 other carries and a carry veno ;_;

God damn brazilians. Randomed necrolyte, repicks into invoker... Still okay. Then starts typing -invokelist. Doesn't work, asks at least 5 times how to check it. And he doesn't understand basic english as we try to explain it to him. You can guess what happened next.
Please make a new server for Brazilians and restrict their IPs please.

To be honest, the MM system has improved in my opinion...
I've been getting good games (almost even scores, good picks, good players) instead of roflstomps where you lose hard or win hard.
Sure, there are still games where you get paired with this dude who thinks he's god with 20 games and ofcourse plays like a one-armed, one-eyed drunk sailor, but all in all the game has more 'fun' value for me now.
Improvments can still be made better though. Lets not be paired up with said drunken sailor when you have 300+ games played yourself. Lets not get paired up against premades of more then 4 players.
But yeah, its improved
Edit: Oh and the most important for me: Insight in the bracket system and MMR so you can work to improve yourself and aim for the best

Played a game last night. Random draft. First two picks for my team.....AM SF.....OK....time for support, pick lich. Next two picks......Drow, tinker......because, according to drow, tinker is a support hero, drow is a semi-carry/ganker, and sf is "one of the best mids in the game".
OK.
Am goes top with me(radiant), sf mid, drow tinker bot(LOLOLOL). The opposing team has zero carries, all of them have stuns and AoE. My opposing lane is sven/tide....GL there. We lose terribly, team blames me for dying 9 times. I had the most kills.....and came close to outfarming both tinker and drow.....and had 35 cs. Good times.

Played 6 games today and while the first 5 were good, this last one was just so fucking bad I want to punch something. I pick AM and literally nothing goes right for me, I miss last hits, my friend's comp is lagging so he can't really babysit, resulting in more missed last hits. I fuck up and get ganked a lot early game, and sometimes I just dont fucking blink fast enough so I get chain stunned and silenced.
What's worse is, I know the enemy team (PA Riki DK and i don't fucking care enough to remember the other 2) wasn't even good, just your typical pub team. Riki goes beyond godlike, MoM basher etc etc.
My team is relatively unremarkable but fuck some people just really piss me off. Pudge gets ganked near secret shop and dies, and then bitches at me for not saving him. And he isn't the first to do so, I've had to face this shit in many games. What the fuck is wrong with these people? How the fuck is an underfarmed AM with no core items supposed to save someone? Right click them and burn like 60 mana? Do I have a reliable stun or nuke? No? Then how about you shut the fuck up?
I tell Pudge there was no way I could save him and also I berated him for coming into my lane, taking my farm and pushing it. He responds with "you talk too much bro, bad for your health". LMAO and who started this? 
Meanwhile BS on our team goes 0-11, feeds every game nonstop and generally plays like a down syndrome retard. He never talks, and just randomly goes into a lane and starts auto attacking. He does this the whole game and just feeds. Fuck dota, I'm going to sleep and that Riki isn't fit to lick the dust off my boots

Ally picks beastmaster, skips summons entierly, going for stats after axes/aura + ulti. Then he builds SnY. His reason for the item: he needs a slow.
Another game: ally picks void, 0 points in leap until he gets other skills maxed. Feeds enemy clinkz. Thankfully after 40 minutes of catching up we manage to win thanks to awesome teamwork, a rosh steal and some great WR shackles.

It's Rubick, it's not Rubrick. Does everyone suddenly have dyslexia? Or is the Rubik's Cube now somehow an obscure artifact only the most learned of internet dwellers have come across? I've never seen Rubick's name misspelled yet. I've seen people misspelling dota1 names, like loric and magine. The first one is a missed letter, but for the latter I have no idea how you swap a for e.

Worst player on our team, has almost no game sense at all, builds his hero wrong, never holds a TP, and never communicates. We end up losing and he gets a Pirate Flag (TideHunter) item, while the rest of us gets common shit.
Times like these, I just wanna cry.

The person I play with a lot likes to hear themselves talk.
I like (or atleast tend to) tell people the truth about their skill and say when they do something I find retarded - this leads to people I play with calling me a dick (read bad mannered).
But here is the problem. Which is more rude, talking so much that the person you're talking to has no chance whatsoever to reply or comment or bring up their own topic to discuss or to stop someone who is talking endlessly and tell them they are talking a lot.
So if I interrupt him, I'm a dick, and if I don't, he continues to rant.

Riki solos all game long, dives into opponent's jungle with reckless abandon. Realizes enemy mirana is holding a gem, continues doing it, and blames us for not following him.
Enemy mid and bot raxes gone, 1 last push at top. We tell him to come with us, he stays bot and gets... ganked.
Whines like a 8 year old kid, wanna break items, afk fountain, afk jungle... you name it. Eventually he sticks with us LOL. And win with 1 good push.

Well you sound like an asshole so congratulations on being a stereotypical Doter! "I tend to tell people the truth about their skill and say when they do something retarded" is a euphemism for "I yell at newbs and generally harass them because they're going to lose us the game." There is a huge difference between constructive criticism and berating players for making a poor decision. Tell your friend to also not be a dick and to let things go. First ask if a player is new, then say why they shouldn't build the way they're building. If the guy is trolling and going a joke build on purpose, then you can call him out on it and take it easy for that game.

First off, I do not tell people directly how I feel unless I play with them often (and thus expect more from them because I queue with them to win/have fun). If someone on my team is feeding, I ignore them entirely. If someone is bad, I ignore them entirely. If someone asks for help on builds or is genuinely new to the game I am more than willing to help them in any possible way and if they are willing to listen I sometimes even continue playing with them.
When someone on my team is retarded, over SKYPE I complain or express my annoyance with the person and generally QQ about MM pairing me with morons.
As for my friend, "likes to hear themselves talk" is not a euphemism for him holding a grudge or whatever you thought, he just enjoys talking and talking with no realization that I don't care what he's talking about.

Our team picks Furion (me), QoP, Pudge, Morphling. Pudge calls mid, I call jungle, QoP calls solo bot. I ask the 5th person to pick a stun. Instead this guy decides to act like an illiterate asshole and picks Lycan. Starting items: QB and SEVEN clarities.
At least he had the decency to go to the enemy jungle.
