Was alt tabbed during picks and quickly tabbed back in and hit play because it was almost time to start. Was hovered over PA. Turns out that for once I had a legitimate team (Alchemist, Pudge, Enigma, Windrunner), and before I could come to the conclusion myself, Alch just went off the chain over how I botched the lanes they set up. He was right, of course, but I guess someone reported him because I got a thank-you even though I didn't report. I made some effort to support, but Mortred is not exactly a no-farm hero, so it turned into a very quick stomp. Real shame. | ||

They have aegis and double our farm but are just afk-ing around the map, their supports farming items and shit. Like, forget "lgd.int 35k lead to break high ground", it's more like a 50k lead and still a "maybe" in pubs. Like, the only way to break high ground in a pub game it seems: -all 5 ppl push together just push (you'd expect this to happen a lot more often, there's always that one person that just is farming woods or spamming "b" "b" "b" "b" when we can clearly win a fight) (25% of scenarios this happens) -2+ ppl on the losing team afk in fountain (seems like the only time people decide to do this is in a game that's clearly still winnable) (10% of scenarios this happens) Seems like half of my dota playtime is spent either turtling unwinnable games in pubs, being unable to even leave our base or just farming the enemy jungle because our team just doesn't want to push and hoping that we don't somehow throw our giant advantage. Like, "gg"s have already been spammed out by both sides, "ez game"s followed "gg noob team"s came as responses and still the game drags on for another 15 minutes. zzzzz | ||

Solo Q CM mode - China guy who cannot speak English is our captain for an English SEA server game. First ban- phantom assassin. Proceeds to ban 4 more carries and picks in order 5 carries: 1) Prophet (Good pick! We have an offlane / Jungle!) 2) Puck (Nice pickup for Mid!) 3) Bristleback (Errr...okay...I guess he can lead the aggressive trilane...) 4) Morphling (Wait...what?) 5) Storm Spirit (Please pick a support, please pick a support, please......FUUUUUUUUUUU) Captain picks SS, goes mid and proceeds to feed the entire game. Stats not recorded but man, what a waste of good time. | ||
