Firstblood happens (on us), guy respawns and I ping the dropped courier. Nothing. His lanemate dies, fails to see the courier (despite my pings and despite the me telling him in chat to activate it) and just walks past by it. Another one dies and simply ignores the dropped courier again. Follow up with me breaking even with the enemy mid and can't gank, both because my Phase Boots are at base. Guess who they blame? Me for not activating the courier of course! | ||

(i can agree it can be confusing if people use those abbreviations for those heroes, but that's more like fuck up on their part) | ||

Technically there's also Soul Keeper, but I don't remember that one really being used. I've also seen Prophet being used for Death Prophet as well as Nature's Prophet. Ussually you can tell by the context they are used, and it's really not a big deal. For newcomers I think using Dota 1 names is probally more confusing than abreviations, and I don't see that changing any time soon. | ||

Only reason they dont have these names in dota 2 I believe is because of copyright. So most people who played dota 1 remember these items and names, and also use them in dota 2. | ||
