but losing thanks to braindead garbage retards is depressing

Public Match-Making is such a rollercoaster. One moment, you feel frustration. Another moment, you feel disgust. Yet another moment, you feel hatred. Sometimes, relief when a bad low skill pub has finally come to a conclusion. And sometimes, you feel a little bit of satisfaction from being happy with how you played one game.

Being bad/stupid is easy to forgive, but these cancerous people are just a scourge.

Word bro, the more constantly i play the more i find myself tilting for stupid reasons. When i keep myself from playing for some days, or just play one game per day the experience is generally much less frustrating.

I have tilted myself to the deepest trenches of dota where a luna thinks threads - midas - linkens is a good build. They didnt even have any single target spells to worry about. Ofc he also complains that everyone is farming to much (while we are just roaming the map killing them). The other 4 in the team had been part of most of the kills up until the 30 minute mark (around 25) while luna had been part of 3, ye ye clearly we are the ones farming to much. Some people should not be allowed to play multiplayer games.

Why the fuck has Dota stopped saving server settings? Now it defaults to auto and being in Stockholm means i often accidentally queue for the Russian servers. What could possibly be the upside in this.

Well, the EU servers are basically filled with ~50% russians anyway.

Which is fine when they speak english. I mean, who cares where "yellow" or "pink" is from, as long as you can reasonably interact and they don't do too many stupid things.

The problems arise when they do things that you consider stupid. And then, I think I'd rather have a bad team mate that I cant communicate with. I mean, it's obviously an issue to not understand your team-mates in a team game but, on the other hand, I have been insulted and insulted back in french before, in dota, and when it's your native language, shit can get crazy.

So all in all I'd rather have people raging in a foreign language, that I can somewhat (english) or not at all (russian) read. Russian is exotic, too.

Coming to think of it, I find that English provides a nice "barrier", in that regard. Like, you know its bad but it's not personal. Dota 2 chat broken english is also a source of endless fun, at least for me. Native language... no thanks.

It's literally impossible to move up out of 2k MMR land playing with absolute morons who KEEP WANDERING ACROSS THE RIVER WITH NO VISION AGAINST A SLARK AND BS WITH SHADOW BLADE. Like the "you can escape with good play feels really hard when people don't know how to play against these stupid ass heroes.

The last two days were good days, I won every single one of my solo Q games, a screen full of green. Well, to be honest I had one loss in the middle but it's basically a full green screen. Good stuff.

Today, I'm getting confused again.

First game of the day, one dude didn't read the patch note and you know, just went the good old "I'll random the last pick fuck you lulz" way. Didn't work well for him, and the game immediately went safe to leave.

So, second game of they day, we had a first pick Bane. Which is amazing, someone willing to play support, and picking it first, great start. So yeah, I was like, let's pick a Miraner and combo with this dude. Let's dual roam and make the enemy team lose their shit early, this is how you win. Amiright.

Yeah but no, of course not.

Because Bane had other plans. If any plans. Bane picked brainsap first because... because... I'm sure it made sense and I'm just a noob. So yeah we waited till he was level 2 and finally put a point in sleep. Then we immediately slept / arrowed / killed the offlaner. Ez, wp, no you wp, no, we all wp, etc. So we step back off map, I smoke the 2 of us and type "go mid". Let's fucking win boys.

But no, of course not.

Because Bane had others plans. So Bane, smoked, went back to pull the small camp. But... why Bane. Why are you doing this to me, to us ? "Go mid Bane". Bane does not care for my words. Bane wants to pull the small camp, farm it, and then go back to his lane and get a Soul Ring, which is a great item on Bane.

So yeah, w/e, fast forward 40 minutes later, we lost. Turns out carry Magnus HoT first item is not a thing. And we ever only had this one time where he slept / I arrowed.

Couldn't do it a single other time over 40 minutes, because... because... I don't fucking know dude, sometimes, just fuck this game.
