I just had a game where my pudge hit 0 hooks and had 0 impact. He kept calling everyone "4k newb trash". The best part is that he was literally the only 4k on our team.

Tried playing some International ranked for warmup instead of warming up with Starcraft :D

on the bright side, playing with 4k scrubs make me appreciate how much worse my usual 5k allies could be

I decided to learn Shadow Fiend (I know it's not a meta hero but I've always liked him), first game my team drafts one stun (Warlock ulti) and an AM as carry against Drow/Windranger/Riki/Necro/CM. I had them all muted but I'm sure they all decided it was my fault because "mid no gank". Sure, I played rather bad since I haven't played SF in forever, but still they managed to play worse.

International Ranked is killing normal ranked... suddenly getting matched with clueless sub 5k players again...
Like really, when you see a 1k difference between yourself and the highest MMR on your team, your first instinct is to pick mid??

First 4 picks of my team: Zeus/Puck dual-mid, Drow safelane, medusa offlane. Against slark/riki/necrophos/ogre.....

followed by "abandon" because steam disconnected everyone.
and then a nice 4-30 in 20 minutes stomp. with an axe trying to rush heart before boots (thanks valve.)

Beat 8k player playing with party mmr in a 5k game get 17 mmr. Lose to 5 and 6ks recalibrating in a 4.5k game lose 27 mmr. Great system valve.

Nothing like losing 3 v 4 a winnable game. Especially cause one game just afk in fountains and no hero control. And you are dying to legion duel AM, how about a fucking linken's, is it standard, no, but guess what, being able to buy items outside suggested list is a good trait to have.

Venge and I roflstomped early game, getting kills left and right as roaming support, but hey BKB is such a bad item, let's skip it against ET + zeus, basicly 125% dmg from zeus with his veil. The game went downhill pretty fast and our mid tiny and safelane CK who skipped BKB starts bitching. The map was warded, we won their lanes for them they lose the game by skipping BKB and they bitch!

Lack of courtesy in general regardless of whether I play ranked eu or us east servers has been pretty terrible, people can say (when it's clearly not a tactical pause) they need to restart in open chat, fix their mouse/headset and people will just not wait the 30-60 seconds. US servers I'll tell them in both English and Spanish in case there's a language issue and it still won't work.

I'm solo support silencer with more net worth than our sven.... because he patently refuses to farm... always looking for fights when he's underfarmed.
Did I mention he refuses to buy BKB until we're almost an hour in?

Our OD always instantly astrals + wastes his ulti on that one person.. he also astrals at many other inappropriate moments

Despite all that we're actually even 2 sets of rax down each because our clinkz and zeus are playing well to balance things out.... Until we lose a 4v5 fight after taking RS late in the game when clinkz is on the other end of the map.

A team that doesn't buy detection vs slark, except me, but he just waits for them all to blink away from me to kill me. They want wards, will they come with me to place wards? Nope! So no vision. Enemy team has pudge, sven blinks in front of creep wave and kills it in front of their tier 3 tower. Gets hooked and died. Whoever could of guessed! Tinker dagons the blademail pudge all game and dies all the time! Wow! Such skill!
