Self-QQ: I've been trying to get back into Dota lately after a bit of a hiatus. First of all I play as part of a 4-stack regularly which, if this forum has tought me anything, makes me a horrible person in and of itself. And god damn am I rusty. I wasn't a good player to begin with, but I can't count the number of times I've been out of position, got picked off stupidly, had no map awareness, used my skills wrong etc. I tried playing Morphling the other day and I've never been that much dead weight in a game of Dota ever. Not only can't I last hit for shit, I had no concept of farming and no decision making whatsoever. So if you're ever matched with me in a game: I'm deeply sorry. I'm trying to get better again so I don't have to use my friends as training wheels any more.
Actual QQ: I've had a lot of teammates lately who focussed a lot on things that went wrong. Example: I get WR in Single Draft, our mid is a potm. I guard the rune at 0 mins and potm gets a DD, which we use to secure first blood on the enemy offlane. Everything fine and dandy, people being nice to each other. Our safelane (me included) then has problems and gets picked off a few times by the very aggressive Tiny/CM offlane (that combo does damage). So we lose a few fights and T1 towers. At this point potm gets more and more upset ad starts pinging our Void to join the fights. We tell her Void needs to farm, since he has no items (to be fair, he went Midas into Bfury which is pretty dumb, especially considering how badly the lane was doing). But we stabilise and win more and more fights as Void comes online.
Doesn't matter, Potm keeps flipping shit, pinging this, complaining about that, team is bad, you all suck. I tell him to chill out because at that point the game was going well. He then flips me off, well...haven't muted anyone in a while. We win the game easily but it left a sour aftertaste. I don't get it, the mood early on was great and it was a very fun game so far with nice communication, commends here and there and all that. Why does it have to devolve that way just because people make mistakes? I guess a lot of players have been broken by one to many bad asshole 4-stacks.
Had a lot of games like that lately where things are fine early on and then "gg team sucks" goes flying at the first mistake. It's sad because that ruins perfectly good games that otherwise would have been a lot of fun.

Ya there's a few exceptions for heroes that don't afk 10minutes +
enchantress being one of those exceptions

That really only applies to heroes like LC/Axe/Lifestealer/Nature's Prophet that *can* jungle but really should not jungle. Enigma/Chen/Enchantress can actually be useful while jungling

Jungling Axe and LC makes me want to kick a baby. Axe is freaking baller in lane and legion is decent herself..........

Got it. Add to that that many players afk jungle with Enchantress as well and I agree that jungling in pubs hurts your team badly most of the time.

Securing farm and lanes doesn't fucking work half the time in pubs, Offlane is so easy to exploit against duels and tri lanes in pubs because they don't have the lane control mechanics and don't know how to zone. If you sit in lane attempting to zone your carry will manage to push the lane where you face tanked the ranged creep so the lane wouldn't push. And then the offlaner will get a massive exp lead, due to the carry not knowing how to control the lane. I have gotten so much out of the offlane(i feel like its the easiest role in high 4k). 90 percent of the time id rather have a dude jungling getting farm then a dumb fuck support stand around and fail to zone, or a dumb fuck carry that pushes the lane against a magnus.

It's not that jungling is bad, it's that most pubbers who call jungle are telling their team they want to play Dota but they don't want to try, so glhf, if you haven't lost the game by 15 or 20 minutes I might be useful in another 10 or 15.
I really wish I had stats for what my winrate is on teams with someone who calls jungle. I'm sure it's quite bad.

It's not the heroes. It's the players. Enchantress can afk jungle for as long as she likes. I've seen it. We all have.

I think that saying that they're afk can be pretty easily extrapolated to my issue being that they're lazy.

Look dude, you're the one who said "jungling in general is dumb." Maybe English isn't your first language but that implies that jungling is a bad thing people shouldn't do, when the point you're so aggressively agreeing with me on is the fact that people typically choose to jungle because they have no intention to contribute.

My issue is in no-way with what you said so much as the fact that you literally just agreed with what I said but acted like what you were saying was some different thought by disagreeing.
This is a result of either:
a) you not reading even a few posts up and realizing that my issue isn't with people jungling so much as the fact that people afk for a large part of the game farming in it
or b) you're just being contrary despite agreeing with what I said because you think it makes your post more worthwhile which is just nauseating

in my scrub 2k-3k mmr i like seeing someone go jungling.
he wont miss lasthits and ppl can go solo offlane which is like the easiest lane in pubs.
