Ranked. Guy calls for mid. Hovers on Razor for ages...then fast switches and grabs Pudge. Of course he does. I grab my Spectre which I've been exclusively using for ranked (as long as you can get Radiance at a reasonable-ish time its damn hard to lose by forcing it to go late). Another guy grabs Furion. I go safelane with a support. Pudge goes mid. Furion goes...Mountain Prophet! Oh fantastic... Pudge gets hardly any ganks off but the other team's mid gets even fewer (i.e. basically nothing). I get sort of ok farm until the opposing Omniknight rotates down from top at which point the lane becomes lethal (Omni + Weaver). I build towards Radiance. At ~15 minutes in Furion is still cliff jungling albeit now with a Midas and half a Lothars. Pudge has...A MIDAS. We should have lost that game...we really, really should have. But the other team did nothing about it. They let us happily sit on our Midas/Midas/Radiance across three heroes and just flat out get ahead of them but it was utterly terrifying until the 20-30 minute mark because we had absolutely nothing. By the gods why do people get midas on heroes like Pudge? -_- | ||

This a game where everyone is 4.2-4.4 mmr. Yeah sure, everyone in my team is just having a bad day, and I'm not. SURE, I'm not better than these guys at all. The MMR system is a fucking lie. | ||
