Bit later my team are pushing bot whilst I'm coming down there from being back at base. They run into trouble and start getting picked off. Spectre manages to get into the trees where they can't really reach but they're going to get her with spell spam eventually. I run in from the side, cause a bit of chaos and run away. Other team, like the proverbial headless chickens, all decide to do different things. Few of them run after me (and fail to catch me), the other two are just hanging around. Spectre daggers out of the trees onto Sniper and wrecks him, getting away just fine. Excellent stuff. I make a comment in chat along the lines of "And that's why you don't take your eye off the main carry to go onto an obvious distraction. Good response, Spectre.  "Entire team piles onto me with insults about my items, my level, my score. I get "fuck yous" and all that. Mind blown...I hesitatingly respond that I was complimenting him, that it was dumb of the enemy team to go on me and ignore his greater threat and him exploiting that chaos was great work. "Oh, ty" Really? Goddamn REALLY? No apology or anything for the WALL of abuse you've just subjected me to? Just "Oh thanks"? -_- And of course they're a bloody 4-stack. Seriously, sod off with the damn stacks and GIVE ME BACK MY SOLO QUEUE. Its a horrible experience working with stacks like these guys. They're either incompetent or assholes or both. Especially given that, once again, neither of their supports wanted to buy detection (against Gondar and a Sniper with Lothars) or wards beyond the first two sets. I'm actually genuinely upset now.  | ||

Every game so far has been toxic in some aspect. Even when we're winning, people are just flaming each other and complaining in all chat. People insta pick heroes and then try and dictate what everyone else should be. People will literally stop playing just so they can furiously type insults to someone who's doing slightly worse than them. I had no idea it was like this. After these 10 games I'm never playing solo again. Everyone who has no choice but to play solo, you have my sympathies. | ||

Fuck you. No I don't care FUCK YOU AND FUCK BLUR I missed walrus punch 4 TIMES on an underleveled pa who afk abandoned at the start of the game. Then I lose my godlike streak on an admittedly stupid idea, and we lose after pa blurs the living SHIT out of us. | ||

Two steps ahead...I wish more people would think this way. Unfortunately, this is something I've seen on both sides of the coin, especially as a support player. Damned if you do, damned if you don't. You can tell if an area is unsafe seeing a Pudge lurk or dealing with the possibility of Mirana ult, you want to put wards out, you can only hope you don't get caught out, but even staying back, people whine at you for not warding if someone stupidly gets initiated on. Even worse, when I know someone absolutely is going down in a pickoff and nothing can be done to save him (and I mean absolutely nothing, even at the cost of the support's life) and we leave them to die, they get mad at us for not saving them. Even if you think you've made a good decision - or the least bad decision based on what happened to someone else - everyone lays into you. It's happened a lot lately, utterly annoying. | ||

I try another calibration match, I get him on my team again, he immediately starts flaming me in chat, then I get booted from the server due to servers shitting themselves so I'm going to get an automatic loss for a calibration match. FUCK MY LIFE. | ||

But I've found it lets you play Broodmother a lot more directly and in teamfights and stuff like that. Might not be the best way to play her but a lot of players don't expect it so you might be able to get out the win you need. Edit: Oh, QQ on behalf of the enemy team in the game I just played Silencer 0-22-6. I'm so glad I didn't get landed with that guy. >_> | ||
