Please remember that while this thread is for QQ and venting about the game, racism is not tolerated here on LD. |
My last game started with 12-2 for our team with a 3 tower lead at ~12-15 minutes, the game was basically won if everyone just plays their hero like he is supposed to
But we lost because a tinker went 18-4. Our team was nyx, axe, riki, naga and aa. A great lineup to beat tinker but we got crushed by him and he wasn't even good...
I was the aa, i was winning safelane together with riki, we made a lot of kills happen and basically shut down their bloodseeker + venge lane completly, i had a sub 20 minute aghs - no world record but there was not much space for me to farm with such a greedy lineup, needless to say i was also getting all support items.
Nyx was decent, he died a bit much because he tried for stupid solo-kills but he was ok.
Axe jungles after getting tranq and blink instead of ganking he kept farming the jungle and farmed a heart, didn't catch out tinker once, refused to hide in trees to gank tinker together with aa blast + nyx...
Riki didn't get bkb fast enough, 40 minute bkb is just too late and he didn't get any reliable lockdown (abysal) he had only diffusal and a bunch of other random items, vlads, yasha etc.
Naga was probably the biggest reason we lost he had a decent timed radiance, 15-16 minute, however instead of farming properly she fed and her next item after radiance was a linkes sphere at 35 minutes or something ridicilous. Linkens on naga is usually awful anyways but especially in this game it was completly pointless... At 50 minutes naga wasn't 6-slot because she fed too much.
the thing that is so frustrating about this is that you can't trust your teammates to be decent. I'm at 4.2k mmr at the moment and there are people that know how to play their hero, how to itemize and general playstyle and then you have these potatoes that just build random shit. It feels like wasting a lot of time, after 30 minute and a bunch of feeds from naga and brainless farming from axe it was quite obvious that we will lose but it will be a slow loss and i will be trapped another 20+ minutes in this game...

Why the hell do people decide to push a single lane into T3's when there are still other T2 (sometimes even T1s) still up in other lanes, when we don't have an advantage? I can't tell you how many games I've played where my team just kamikazes up middle to try and get a rax when it's 5v5 and we don't have a significant advantage. This also applies to when someone gets an aegis. Why is there always those 1-2 idiots on the team who demand you push a lane IMMEDIATELY. Instead of patiently waiting for a better opportunity. I swear bad players just think that aegis = autowin.
So sick of it.

Frankly, my hatred for Void right now comes from the fact that I used to enjoy playing him back when he was weaker. It was fun to play Void and I actually had to work for each win. Now after a 10 million dollar tournament he becomes an overnight FOTM sensation that everyone and their dogs have to pick him because "hurr we high impact teamfight playmaker and hero farmer nao" it's disgusting. When you take away his weakness of needing big damage or farming items early on, Void becomes a no-skill-involved hero who only need MoM+PT to get free gold every time he sees someone alone.
|
The voids I get on my team are more likely to go brown boots aghs into doing nothing and blaming the team.
I don't find him particularly broken, although the free ult-every-teamfight at 16 is kind of annoying now the aoe is so huge.
I do wish his popularity would fall off so I can start playing him again without being cancer. Likewise tinker.

Well first game in a week. A 3 stack that roams. Never does any proper killing. Always dies. Gets caught out of position. Complains about kill stealing (because he wants more farm, herp derp you have a mom and you're void, why aren't you using the lanes + jungling + STOP WALKING IN CIRCLES). A useless tinker who is too stupid too stupid to blink into safe spots when split pushing.
Edit: "play for fun" ends up feeding. Edit 2: Okay. I think this game hates me.

I would sell my fucking soul for a hard language/region lock. I'm so tired of playing with people that clearly can't speak english. I even use the chatwheel to tell our supports to upgrade crow about 10 times and at the 15 minute mark we still had a walking courier. I've never even seen something that bad and this was despite our supports winning lane. I actually just give up when I see people from countries that I know can't communicate properly.

Not really, he's commenting on the lack of communication leading to poor cooperation. It's not fun playing with people who don't speak the same language regardless of skill. Pinging just gets annoying after a while.
My QQ: BH is on enemy team, I buy sentries and rotate mid to drop one down. Our mid TA dies 3 times in a row to a clearly visible Bounty. Then blames team for not calling missing, and feeds. I can't get enough reports.

He chatwheel-spammed to upgrade the courier and didn't think of buying the upgrade himself for more than 15 minutes. Yeah, it's usually the support's task to do that, but 220 gold at min 15 really isn't such a big deal. I don't know who I'd rather play with.

I freaking hate 5 stack against 2+2+1... stupid matching...

It's not racist at all. For one, he never mentioned a specific race, and two it totally makes sense to want to play a team game with people who are capable of communicating with you. You speak good english, so I doubt you're the sort of person he is talking about. I don't care where my teammates are from as long as they can speak English, which is why I queue on US east/west, but when you get all Portuguese or Russian teams on those servers it makes you scratch your head.

i really wonder if people are retarded sometimes, we had a decent lead in kills and all but some players on my team insisted to try to take t3 mid despite not having t1s in the sidelanes yet. First time i go with them, maybe we can force a buyback or something. But nope we all die, i tell them take t1s, 3 people rush mid again all die, they respawn rush mid and die, they respawn, they rush mid, they die. And they didn't stop, they kept throwing themselves against t3s despite not having t1s in sidelanes yet, without taking rosh without buyback against a fucking np. You know if you fail 2 or 3 times with something stupid consider not doing it anymore. The worst was i couldn't push out the lanes fast enough and at some point natures prophet just took our t3s, this was such a bizarre game, there was no way to lose unless going all mid into a team that has better teamfight and splitpush....

I've had a lot of games as a hard carry or middle where I've been forced to buy my own wards or courier. People always throw out the "buy it yourself hurr" retort and unfortunately that's now how dota is to be played.
P.S: Absolutely nothing racist about your rant. I wish this game was region locked as well (or it was optional), the language barriers get to be too much at times and they completely ruin any chance of fun I may have while playing.

Edit: I don't understand how I'm getting hate for what I said, I was under the impression teamwork and communication were actually important in Dota. I tried asking multiple times in both english and my barely passable spanish. I think being upset about that is pretty justifiable. Also there's nothing racist about what I said, at all.

I completely hate pinoy dota. It's just bad. No wonder my country's dota rep is terrible.
