In a pool of pretty OP stuff for pubs (Huskar, Ursa, WK, Void), we wind up with jakiro venge abadon TA doom. Abadon wants to carry. Doom wants to jungle. Venge is thrown to the dogs bot. I dick around as jakiro doing whatever. Our fucking doom gets midas at 12 minutes, then builds brown boots-oblivion staff-Aghs-vanguard. He did absolutley nothing all game except make me cringe when his midas went two minutes at a time being off cooldown. TA didn't use traps in any of the first couple engagements when we would have gotten kills, carry abadon was... tanking in fights and thats about it, and venge was throwing waves of terror at creep waves and then watching the fights with fascination. Pushes turned into dives turned into feeds, nobody had any awareness of what was going on on the map, warding vs slark is a bitch. Game too ahrd soemtimes. And sometimes game too filled with completely awful Doom | ||

i have treant on my ten heroes thing and i'm the last guy on the team in -ap who hasn't picked and i get a guy saying "we need tanke" which should be a red flag right there, but i said whatever and picked treant and figured if shit hit the fan i would just fuck off to the jungle to farm and living armor people when needed, so i could do this compendium challenge. i mean it's treant and the team is viper, windrunner, veno, PA, plus me. this viper dies multiple times to a rubick solo offlane. i mean first of all he had a shit farm in what was essentially an easy farm lane but he apparently had the hardest time trying to last hit a creep it was ridiculous. i'd see him get low, i'd give him living armor and just watch as he tries to fight rubick under rubick's tower and die anyway repeatedly rubick was building support items the whole time and viper still found a way to die to him. rubick also abandoned near the end. so that was a 4v5 we lost... as the 5. i was supporting PA and oh boy, least she knew not to try and fight wk/skywrath mage lane and tried to farm keyword being tried here, because she bought a battlefury at 30 minutes. i'm like "aight cool" then i look at her items she's got treads, quelling blade, battlefury and a tp scroll. all that time ignoring the team pinging and telling her in chat to show up for teamfights and she finished with 83 last hits after playing 45 minutes of PVE. i don't think i saw her land a single coup de grace on anything. i've literally never seen a player on my team pick this and do good in my dota 2 lifetime. i've never seen a player on my team pick this and speak english either, but that's a different story. wr was okay but that wasn't saying much since she was still 5/7 venomancer built carry items and ended up with a better KDA than our two carries. fed skywrath mage and lifestealer AFK farming for 30 minutes without disturbance is very strong, strong enough to 2v5 an entire team apparently. it's like every half-decent player on USW and USE fucked off to another universe during TI4 qualifiers and i'm stuck playing with people who think dewarding is what you do to a dog when he drags his butt across the carpet. least we killed roshan once. aegis went to venomancer. | ||

can't get a single team out of 10 that has everyone that can speak basic dota english. I dont have anything against anyone that can't speak english, but I would like to play a pub game that has a team full of english speakers once in a while. | ||

everytime i solo queue (4700 mmr) i get matched with 3 or 4 stacks on both teams and one stack picks DK line up and other stack picks 4 carries and game ends in 20 minutes why the fuck did they remove the solo players only option fucking retarded cunts | ||

On topic, I know I am trench tier, but ffs, I don't expect a captain to first pick venge, second pick sniper (???) pick cent, slardar, silencer to round things out, then go safelane farming .... on the venge? As far as I could tell, no one else in the game spoke english and there was at least one chat banned guy - like this is the kind of BS I expect at 5 AM on a Monday, not 10:30 >.> | ||
