Been looking to buy the korean Logitech g1: http://www.logitech.com/ko-kr/mice-pointers/mice/devices/3526
Been looking at ebay and also read that many that bought there got scammed and got copies etc.
Have anyone here bought logitech G1 (the korean one in link) from any seller on ebay or store that ships worldwide? That gotten the correct mouse ofc ;>

Why not just get a G5 or something? I don't know anywhere that even makes the G1 anymore.

My G1 was bought in Korea and made in China. I don't think there's an actual Korean version, just the same mouse marketed in various countries. It does go great with a DT35 though, it's a very robust mouse.

Did no one check the link? :D The mouse still sells in korea and taiwan, as an updated version with 1000dpi. Old G1 had 800 dpi.
The G5 is not even close to the same mouse ;O.

Moving to tech support, though I'm not sure it really fits there either. Happy hunting!

You could call Logitech and see if they can get one for you.

G1/G3 are next gens of MX300. Its hard to get those ones, i have G3 for like 4/5 years and its working like new, just need to replace sliders. Search around for G3, highly recommend.

Hi, if you don't mind ordering overseas, you could go to a Taiwanese online shopping site called PChome:
http://global.pchome.com.tw/
the shipping is only 10USD and it is a legit site with quite a bit of people from US ordering stuff from there (FILCO keyboards for example back when amazon didn't have them and elitekeyboard discontinued the FILCOs.). You'll need to use google translate to get by the chinese tho.
Here is the link to their logitech mouse section:

the ebay site has the mice for $19.99
pchome has them for $30 plus $10 shipping, I would go with ebay........

Sorry for being picky, but the mention of "Korean G1" bothers me since it is simply an updated version of original G1 now available only in some parts of Asia including Korea. It is designed by Logitech from Swiss, and manufactured in China.

I bought a Logitech g1 off ebay few days ago and it was not detect in Setpoint, does that mean it's fake? it was from China.
|
i bought mine from korea, and its working fine, and yes ooolong i think it might be fake, i suggest you guys to buy from korean sellers instead of chinese sellers.
|
Bought 2x from the seller bovi linked. Awaiting my G1s soon :D Thx for the tips.

you might be able to find electronic stores owned by Asians around your area. I found this place near my school where they sell logitech g1 and all other old school gaming peripherals

My father just brought me a G1 over from Taiwan. Detected in Setpoint as G1 Optical Mouse. But I wouldn't panic yet if I were you. Take it apart and see whats in the guts. Usually fake ones would have very little and low grade parts within.
