MX 518 Logitech SetPoint settings help

alkow United States192 Posts April 05 2011 05:00 GMT #1 This question pertains specifically to SC2 and gaming in general. I have a Logitech MX 518 with the latest version of SetPoint installed. I have run MarkC Windows 7 mouse acceleration fix and was confused about how I should set up my SetPoint game settings and advanced settings. I have my mouse sensitivty in SC2 set to 51% and my DPI set to 1100 (which I found to be the most comfortable for me). Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Under "Speed and Acceleration" should I use SetPoint or OS implementation? Should I add SC2 to my recognized games in the advanced settings? Why is WOW on there when I've never played WOW...?

deanyo United Kingdom206 Posts April 05 2011 06:30 GMT #4 If your trying to eliminate acceleration, im pretty sure you will always get a little with the drivers installed. Personally I just don't have the drivers installed and every time I restart my pc (once a month) I just hit the little (+) button a load of times to change it back to 1600 dpi. Without the drivers installed I believe it has 3 settings, 400/800/1600 dpi (may be depending on which mx518 model you have, i think some have 1800 and some 1600 max), but that's off the top of my head so a quick google will enlighten you further.
