I'd probably do the same if I were looking for the Aeron. The authentic versions of these chairs last for a very long time so buying them second hard isn't a major issue.

However, I have a nice chair that I bought from Costco for $60 or $80 bucks. It's one of the most comfortable office chairs I've sat in and has been through around 2.5 years. Considering I'm in college, it's been one of the only chairs I've had for some of my time, so it's very used. I'm also a big guy (about 6'3" and over 200 pounds), so that's saying something. For the average person I would say to just do the normal shopping crawl and buy whatever you find that's the most comfortable and $100 or below. That, for most people, will be cheaper and totally fine. | ||
