I don't agree that size is a factor. The reason it's more suitable for FPS is that the very low DPI range is usually much more suited for FPS. 450 dpi is waaaaaaaaaaaaay too low for any sc2 player unless he's playing with like 800x600 resolution.

And as we hopefully all know by now, compensating by adjusting sensitivity by using the starcraft settings is a bad idea.

Agreed, prices from korean and chinese vendors on eBay will likely be significantly less.

I'd like to know how much dpi these pros are using. Day9 recommends having between 1600-2000 dpi, but I thought most pros used 800-1000.

The reason I'm interested, is because I haven't played sc2 in over a year and I just bought a new mouse. I wanna start all fresh with a new dpi setting.

Really? I just thought it sounded very similar to my BlackWidow Ultimate. And since the thread says he has a Das Ultimate I combined the 2

But I did hear he used a filco once

Or he might have switched to a Das Keaboard from a Filco. I remember him telling that it was a Filco in one of the first dailies where you could hear the keyboard.
