hmm im not sure its a G9x, why would he use that when he is covered in Tt esports gear? I think its a Level 10 mouse by Tt esports, and the purple color isnt available for retail sale anywhere I can see, it may also be a prototype? Does look very badass though!

G9x must be some crazy blue asian transformers styles edition or something.
When players get sponsored they usually don't like swapping mice, essentially all standard layout keyboards are the same.
You cant say the same about mice. ie.. Huk used his razer abyssus forever after joining EG (whose with SS) and maybe still does.

hmm yeah i had a look back and it looks like your probably right. does look awesome, maybe its a custom mod? i didn't realize the buttons on the G9 hang over the front so much when it doesn't have a shell on it.

When SC2 came out there was and maybe still is all this Hype over mechanical keyboards. People like myself with gear acquisition syndrome across all hobbies dont benifit as I end up spending too much money on useless shit I dont need.
I'll always support professional keyboard brands as I like quality products, however not one gaming keyboard is justified I found. Take the dodgy quality of razer casing (on all products) + shocking braided cable quality or the sensor issue with SS as well as allthose other gaming mice that fail at having a 1:1 ratio in 2012!
I like the G9x but its still my least fav mouse logitech ever released, wobbly mouse wheel that i can hear even with headphones on? basically as soon as a product is associated with "gaming" expect the quality to be shitty, have lots of pretty lights.
Avg office pc accessories over gaming crap anyday, if you feel like buying a certain brand will support your favourite team, thats cool, its just a shame you end up using shit because of some team that gets paid to use it. thats all.

It's definitely a shell-less g9x like he has always used, and i think he put some blue film wrap over it or something? Kinda like how the startale players put that red bull film over the sc2 headset. Looks really tacky and i can't imagine it being very comfortable, but hey..style over substance i guess :p

Are you sure you didn't get a dud? The mouse wheel and overall construction quality of a g9x is absolutely rock solid compared to any other mouse i've ever owned, used or even seen. Also it's "Wobbly" because that's the way sideways scrolling works... that's basically standard on any recent logitech mouse. Why someone would see that as a bad thing i have no idea.

because I'm not used to scrolling left and right i scroll up and down :/ must be getting old  we didnt have a scroll wheel in the 90s and now i gotta scroll left and right too? you serious? 
Hope you can actually see from my post that I dont hate logitech mice maybe i dont adapt to change when i dont have to.
theres many other things about G9x I cant get my head around, they have this case that every newb likes and every pro takes off. why not put the sensor in the middle of the mouse? (i realise it may not actually affect accuracy but it fucks with my head which is enough of a disadvantage for me) all these damn unwanted useless features dudes have to pay for in the end.
PS: That MKP photo I didnt notice the Hot6 cans on there before lols, matches perfectly, G9x Hot6 Edition

Haha, well if you're used to having it different i can imagine it being a bit of a pain in the ass. Personally i don't like the shells either and i took them off after about a week. The grey one is simply too big and too high and the black one makes my hands sweat, so i prefer it without a shell. Makes it way lighter and nimble as well, which is what i'm looking for in a mouse.

I remember seeing a custom painted STX SouL Logitech g9x, I'm friends with Minho (artist) on facebook and he liked the picture, thus I saw it. Tried fishing for it but it was about a month ago so if someone else is interested you can look. So apparently there are custom g9x's(s)? That are painted without grips. Cool stuff

Yeah I spent about 30 minutes looking for it on his facebook but couldn't find it. It was all white and had an STX in red where the weight tray comes out. It was pretty badass.

I just watched the replay of WCS Asia Finals between PartinG and Rain. I could tell that PartinG was using a Zowie Celebritas and a pink MiCO. I couldn't tell what Rain was using though.
