It's just a big model made out of pre-existing models (Terran buildings), and maybe a few simple new ones (e.g. not sure where they got the blue saw from). It's not very time-consuming to make.

Besides, everyone needs a break every now and then. The time they spent preparing this would probably have been spent reading Slashdot or something, anyway.

There should have been a multiple building select joke in there too though. It just fits since it's made out of drag selecting THE ENTIRE BASE.

Imagine TvT - you play normal fast exp, while your oppo is secretly teching to Terratron.. when you scan his base, you are baffled by the fact that all the buildings are gone... Your base is destroyed by a massive circular saw.
