Every person treats you unfairly either pro or con in different respects with your every social interaction. Welcome to the adult world. I am sometimes treated both favourably and unfavourably for no good reason. This is not some unique experience.
One of my customers had a database problem they could not solve. I solved it with the in house IT database specialist guy and he provided the explanation of the solution to management. No one understood what was going on and the CIO panicked. I had to throw on a $3000 suit, travel 800 km, go in, in-person, and repeat almost word-for-word what the in-house guy said. Suddenly, everyone understood. This is not the first time this has happened. Clearly, there is bias in these cases. Tall men in $3000 suits travelling from far away are treated very differently compared a short guy who works on the same floor speaking with an accent in a t-shirt and jeans. The world is an unfair place.
The Sc2 game is imbalanced. The game itself is "unfair". Players willing to tolerate the imbalance can enjoy the fun of 3 diverse races in combat.
So, for the sake of this discussion let's assume the game is imbalanced against my race by 7.5%. This means that occasionally someone worse than me will beat me. I am happy to pay that price for the enjoyment of the game. Many other great games feature many outcomes where a less skilled player beats a more skilled player. Its part of the fun.
The world is unfair, people (including SC2 players) are unfair, and the many great highly competitive games are unfair. This is a reality with which most young teenagers grapple and then learn to manage around by the time they are 18.
Hopefully, your struggles on this site help you in better dealing with the adult world. GL HF! See You On The Battlefield!
