TL.net ESPORTS 4 Posts February 29 2024 02:54 GMT #1 2022-23 ESL Pro Tour - Open Cups: Week #216 (February 26th) by Wax Week #216 of the Open Cups saw herO score his first double since October (KR-NA) while Clem prevailed on the European server. herO began his double with a win on the Korean server, surviving a tough gauntlet of entirely Code S players in Bunny (2-0), Dark (2-1), Solar (2-1), and GuMiho (3-0) to take the weekly title. The action then moved onto the European server, where Clem defeated main-race Reynor in the finals for the second straight week (3-1). The EU cup also featured a rare appearance from MaNa in the semifinals, who broke a 24-match losing streak against HeroMarine to earn the top four finish. Finally, the American server competition saw herO complete his double, making another impressive run with victories over Dark (2-1), Solar (2-1), and MaxPax (3-2) in the final rounds. Lower in the bracket, Stats made a notable underdog run to the top eight, beating ByuN 2-0 along the way.
