Thanks for your answer, it feels like you've said too much or not enough  Personally, I can't see six figures as viable economically relative to number of eyeballs (in fact it'd be demotivational w.r.t. smaller tournaments prize pools, teams want hungry players). So if it's more than 4 figures it has to be 5, probably low 5 I think the top 8 players deserve every bit of that and more. They are all prodigies and also seasoned veterans with a decade of experience, grind, and passion for the game ! | ||

To the poster above, there was insight on ComebackTV that TL initially asked for 1000€ per day of filming for the documentary on Clem, so they are probably paying him a comfortable salary! Obviously it depends on the teams, but I would expect the ones with other more profitable businesses than just sc2 or even games to pay well (ie. TL with all the LoL hype and other games, Shopify Rebellion with Shopify, Ence with the CS:GO fans, etc.) | ||

Sometime I feel like the whole industry is living off the marketing budget of office chairs companies. | ||
