I might be misunderstanding but, DRG qualified through the regional (GSL) and would not be present on a group stage 1/2 graphic.

I feel like the new format compared to last year makes this kind of thing less likely, but it is a bummer to not see Reynor or Dark playing. Still should be a good tourney though!

People wanted offline back but forgot that you almost never get every Single top Player for an offline Event.
You can t have both the accesability from online play and the hype from offline play unfortunatly..
I m grad that there are still tons if 3rd Party Events ike the recent afreeeca thing running online, so we have a healthy Mix from both

That's true, though I feel like at least now there's at least a chance that you could since the top guys can still compete in the open sign-ups if they have a bad prior regional and don't get top seeded in (like with the old IEM formats, which produced some great shows with all the top players).

Well.. a top 5 candidate for a winner not attending a tournament sure sucks..

Oh well.. Still hope for some great games. Foreigners FIGHTING!
