The Koreans were very honest about the amount that they'd practiced, which varied from, "a little bit" to "not at all" to "I've been very busy" to "it's not easy when you have to travel." But watching them, you'd never know it. Iris has looked especially impressive, and I'm of the opinion that, after a good night's sleep, he's going to emerge from the loser's bracket and avenge his 1-2 loss against Savior from the winner's bracket final to take home the $10,000 first-place prize. That is because they were too hooked on SC2 at Blizzcon. I mean doesn't Blizzcon have like a special area for the pro players to warm up? If so they just wanted to play SC2 =X | ||

As far as the balance in SC2, me and woof stopped yubee/hot_bid's win streak with zeal rushing/ fast expanding/resource trading archons and storm. Archons blast those fuckers out of the sky. But thats not to say terran is still shit. They lack a proper goliath replacement, and tanks cost too much/build too slow. | ||

I didn't personally hear any of these things said, but from what I was told (known in the journalism world as "secondary sources," which means "not to be relied upon")... Apparently, during his interview, Skew said he could "definitely" beat Yellow. I'm unsure, however, whether he meant that he was going to win or that he thought he had the potential to win. Regardless, Yellow started shaking his head and laughing when he heard what Skew had said. | ||
