I recall Boxer used to practice with Archon mode in Broodwar 1v2, no? Great tournament to watch! Glad to see Reynor won it all, he deserve it, gg wp.

But you absolutly sold that narrative, it s amazingly written ![]() Nice work Wax. GGs to Reynor, it was an absolutly amazing tournament run and a well deserved Championship. I hope more pros will Start incorporating Archon Praxis now. The Koreans are all pretty good friends, so I could absolutly see it in affect for Code S there as well. It could Lift the overall Level of Play to absolut unknown hights. Also I gues it could Help Players with nerve issues (thinking of Cure and Solar in particular) on realy Big games, as from then on every tournament game is 1000x easier than the Archon practise

Even as someone who very loosely follows sc2(broodwar is my thing), I'm definitely going to watch all these games now even though I know the results ![]() I also had to rewatch the Dark series, because I couldn t watch it live unfortunatly. Still was absolutly amazing

The question for me is: Will we see (non-AI) players who will become even better than that (on a non-strategic level)? I can't imagine it, but the current trend suggests that. If Starcraft was a more stable e-sport and had a more promising future, I could see team houses introducing this archon method as a standard training device and a lot of youngsters rising to unimaginable heights. Most team houses are gone for now, but there still seem to be youngsters starting to play on a competitive level, but I doubt that many of them will actually consider a professional career, I hope I'm wrong there.
