Yes he doesn't like progamer life. He hopes he wins this GSL so he can retire a champion. This won't stop him from streaming until the military.
PartinG has been steady at 1700 subs for awhile now and yesterday hit over 2100 subs. He was complaining about a bulging disc in his neck and said his body cannot handle streaming 8 hours a day and then practicing for GSL.
I find it funny that he mentioned this GSL is the first GSL he has taken super serious since he came back to SC2. What he implied is he doesnt practice and other pros like soO and rogue have made those comments as well.

with the perfect storm of terran-favored patch and terran-favored maps, all-terran semis was a given for me, but I'm in awe of Parting's godly play to prove me wrong

God, the terran-favored patch thing is getting so annoying. You do realise it's actually the same patch since december ? During that time we had two premier tournament, IEM and GSL ST, one with 7 protoss in ro16, the other 6 in ro12. And, in the same time, there were 6 Z in Stay At HomeStory Cup ro8. But because of Maru's GSL ST and Rogue/soO fails terran is suddenly favored.
People are rating online tournaments far too much, there are real ping, stakes and hour factors that are discarded.

Great GSL so far. Great write-up as well. I think it may be worth mentioning though that Dark was holding the heat pad to his wrists and did say he was experiencing pain in his wrists in the prior round. Hope that he can get better. It may have been a factor in why he struggled in the prior round as well.

Plus the regular homestory cup. That was on the same patch minus some extremely minor changes and had a ZvZ final.

Maru vs Parting series was brilliant! Went right down to the wire.
Parting almost threw the game when he decided to be fancy by walking his colossus and blink stalkers into the Maru's main which did zero damage apart from killing 1 barracks and bruising some others.
For a moment I thought Parting was going to lose since he last majority of his army with that move.

It s not a Terranpatch, it s actually Terranmaps 
Terrans are on the rise since we ve got the new laddermaps.
I wouldn t say anything is incredible unbalaced atm, we ve seen worse before.
But with the Terran succes both in Kr and Eu lately no one can say, Terran is disadvantaged right now.

Terran is benefiting in tvz from maps right now, I don’t think that tvp is Terran favored atm....

PartinG mentioned on stream that he actually threw his colossi away on purpose in game 5 because he doesn't think they're as good the longer the game goes on.
