The first three months for KOVA Esports in Finnish esports scene has started strongly. First they acquired a Finnish media house Keskisuomalainen as the main sponsor as the first organization in Finland. That led to signing a CS:GO team that is now a top-3 team in Finland. Other teams include Fortnite and card games (Hearthstone / MTG: Arena).
As the fourth team, KOVA ventures into Starcraft II with the signing of Wenlei "ZhuGeLiang" Dai and Mikael "Mixu" Helenius.
Dai and Helenius mix experience and youth eagerness: Dai has been playing since the beta of Wings of Liberty and Helenius found the game only in 2017, but has become one of the most potential Finnish players fairly quickly. The duo met in Assembly Sumber 2017, and since then Dai has been a mentor to Helenius.
During his long career, Dai has managed to get fairly good success especially in Finnish tournaments. He has also represented Finland in Nationwars III in 2016. Helenius with his fast developing pace will definitely be among international top level one day, having already qualified for WCS Summer 2019 in Kiev.
