Its too bad Reynor isnt there. And that you cant just vote for the best . i.e Snute, Scarlett, and Elazer... everyone knows world is owned by European Zergs

I'm really confused by the zerg votes. Scarlett is cool and very good of course, but based on recent results she doesn't seem to be in top form right now. Same goes for snute. And even Elazer isn't as successful as Lambo lately who showed the most promising games in WCS Austin and Homestory Cup.
But ok, in the end we don't know how anyone of them will perform at the actual event - they're all capable to go full beast mode
Furthermore, I consider that some kind of Code A must be reestablished.

This is the problem with community votes: it's a popularity contest and not based on actual form/results/skill.

Wow, uThermal is neck and neck with heromarine. Wish I hadn't voted already. Hopefully a good performance in Valencia can put him over the top.

For myself, I voted for Scarlett because every now and then she plays at a peak level that's higher than Elazer, and I'd say higher than Snute as well. No doubt Snute and Elazer are both far more consistent than her, but in WCS vs The World, we've got a great 4 players already who are consistent (and Serral is both consistent and at an incredible peak), so I picked Scarlett to give her another chance for something like IEM Pyongchang.
I root for Euro Zergs, NA Protoss* and Korean Terrans. (Any North American who has beat a Korean Pro as Protoss counts as NA Toss)

Scarlett won IEM PyeongChang with sOs and Zest in the tournament. Scarlett also got into the Round of 8 at GSL, something that I don't think Elazer has done and definitely not Lambo. If you're basing Scarlett on the last 2 months, then yeah, she hasn't had great results recently. But if you are basing her on this year, she has had a great first half of the year. She won IEM PyeongChang and she made the Round of 8 at GSL.

The Round of 8 at GSL is a nice accomplishment. It's the furthest that a foreigner has achieved for some time (I think the last time a foreigner got that far was Naniwa). I would like to see Elazer or Lambo make the Round of 8 at GSL.

nice reasoning mate, i still dont see the problem with having 2 of these a year. 4 invites based on wcs points + 4 votes is really nothing to get upset about. also every wcs stop, every gsl, wcs global finals, iem katowice & pyeongchang and wesg have a higher prizepool, so its rank ~12 in that regard, not 5. only stuff like super tournaments and hsc have less money on the line

I decided to go with HeroMarine over uThermal because of uThermal playing Protoss at HSC. To me it indicates he is not fully committed to practising Terran and I'd rather pick someone who is. Of course I could be wrong, but I have to make my decision with limited information.
