Who knows how long they've been working on this game for? I remember back in Blizzcon, Nada, Ra, Leg, Yellow, Reach, etc all getting a tour of Blizzard headquarters and not being allowed into a room titled "top secret". They've probably been working on it for a while; > year, and have been planning for a couple. What we see is alpha, and we all remember the crude alpha screenshots of Starcraft 1 (lol), but times have definately changed in terms of technology and such. I think they could have this thing up and running pretty quick (when compared to previous game titles). Not to mention they have the magic of patches! | ||

This would make sense because it would the 10th year anniversary of Brood War and it fits with the other rumour that the beta will come out in December of 2007. So it is imo very likely that it could be released next year. | ||
