Fellas calm down, that job-spot has NOTHING to do with the game that gonna get public soon. It's just that Blizzard wants to be able to make mobile-services in the future...so calm down

And im personally pretty sure its Starcraft 2! My reasons why I think its Starcraft 2: - They announce it in Korea, that would automatically be a BIG dissapointment if it werent Starcraft-related - Blizzard's april-fools joke told us that the new game was going back to a RTS set in the Warcraft-world because there were hardly no games set in the Warcraft-world. They tease the Starcraft-community and I think thats a proof of the next game being set in the Starcraft-world. - It cant be Diablo 3 because Blizzard North doesnt exist anymore, Bill Roper & Co made Flagship studios and Hellgate: London. They wont announce Diablo 3 at this point, conflict of interests. - I think a Starcraft-MMO is to early to announce. Because we already got World of Warcraft and thats a big success so why announce another MMO this fast? It doesnt make sence. And I think people a pretty tired of the whole MMO-thing and I think Blizzard realise this. - Blizzard has repeatedly said that the Starcraft-world is going to get a new game. The boss of Blizzard even said that Starcraft is his favourite game. Thats why I think it's Starcraft 2!

Just to play devil's advocate here, has anyone considered that Blizzard might announce a completely new game that doesn't have anything to do with SC, WC or Diablo?

no wai

They're doing the same countdown thing that Ensemble Studios did for AOE3. This will be orgasmic when it reaches World of Warcraft.

I heard there from a korean source who read the korean paper announcement that if it is Starcraft 2 there is most definately going to be a 4th race... very warcraft like of blizzard if u ask me. SC has always been the underdog for some reason

Warcraft 2: 2 races Starcraft: 3 races Warcraft 3: 4 races Next RTS: 5 races?

this probably means nothing, but they also go rts/rpg/rts/rpg/rts/rpg on the front page

another interesting question: What would happen with starcraft if starcraft 2 would to be released? What about the huge progaming industry in Korea? Would the great playes like NaDa, sAviOr, Bisu, BoxeR switch to the new game or stick to the old one? What would happen to TL.net?

I think that one of the OGN commentators said that if SC2 is unsuitable for progaming, it will only leech away fans from SC progaming, but if SC2 turns out to be compatible with progaming, then perhaps the e-sports scene will transition from SC to SC2. Not bloody likely though. It took years before SC was fully balanced.

At the bottom it shows which games will be shown in the next few days. It's a countdown from Blizzard's older games to the new one they'll be announcing 5/19.

Warcraft 4 or starcraft 2 is no diffrence basically remember that
and what i mean is, it's a new rts, either it's good or not, orcs or zealots does not mather that much for me

Because it was their first major hit. And most of the games they have made have been Warcraft related.

I don't see them producing diablo 3, that just seems like a step back from wow.
I hope it's sc2 :D Newnoice made some good points in this thread too
