On the other hand, if it isn't SC2, then I will lose my faith in Blizzard and never be so pumped again. I just have this gut feeling, man...I have been waiting for this day sooooo long.... | ||

edit: and you could also say that with wc3. so i dunno, but i don't think they are getting any more revenue off of wc3. does blizzard still make money off of sc and wc?? | ||

And this is coming from a person who played 2 skirmish matches vs the computer before heading out to battle.net =D! Although technically I had played the game before at a friends house (actually a few times, but like years apart  ).Fuck, this thread + wikipedia = NO SLEEP. Been reading wikipedia for hours now.. All because of this thread. How you ask? Well, some guy mentioned bees.. I thought of bumblebees.. then I realized it'd be cool to read a little about bumblebees cause they are totally sweet (cartman style). Bumblebees led me to wasps, which led me to ants, which led me to species which led me to extinct species which led me to think of this extinct bird I'd read about ages ago but couldn't remember its name (dodo) so that led me to searching for extinct flightless birds....... SO MUCH INFORMATION, SO MUCH TO READ :D Ahem, yes, starcraft 2 COME ON. I'm already trying to figure out how I'll get into the beta.. Bribes? | ||

Wikipedia is evil...once you start reading, you start to notice all of the little links embedded within the article, and you start to click...and click...and click...omfglookit'ssixhourslater! Starcraft IS overdue, and Blizzard realizes this. They have dropped so many hints over this past year. You think the new patch is out of the blue? You think all of these "slips" and rumors are just coincedence? Blizzard is amazing at creating games, but even better at doing one thing: Creating hype and answering to their fanbase. Blizzard is probably the only gaming company that I know that tends so much to its fanbase and actually looks and listens to it. As I said, if they don't announce SC2 then I was wrong about ALOT. And we will have to wait...again... But haven't we waited enough? It is time for the return to the greatest Blizzard Universe... And Frozenarbiter, from what I hear, I think the minimum fee is bribe + sex favors + coffeerun to get into the beta. | ||

Halo 2 + 300 > hype. Just because something is hyped doesn't mean it's going to not live up to the expectations. Halo 2 and GoW come to mind for that. If blizzard is going through all of this trouble to get the hype as high as it is, it must have a lot of faith in the game it is putting out. Judging by the still active involvment of blizzard in the sc community it is safe to say they know what the people want, and they know how to deliver it. If it does turn out to be SC2 I have confidence that blizzard know's what they're doing. | ||
