Sure, he's super consistent and always places highly, but winning trophies? Not so much.

Still, a great preview that really highlights the deep history behind both of these guys heading into the finals.
That's good, it means he has truly ascended to the heavenly heights of MVP and Taeja in the Book of TL...

Still, a great preview that really highlights the deep history behind both of these guys heading into the finals. Inno dark and stats are the clear front runners of their respective races with inno only further solidifying that last week in gsl. It's all part of the grander story (which I have no doubt will be put on hold after super tournament when sOs wins blizzcon)

enjoyed this preview, hoping stats pulls his finger out

By winning I mean general matches, not trophies. Stats consistantly does very well in almost every tournament yet never stands out for some reason.
I guess star power is a factor. I garantee if Zest or sOs had the same results that they would be hotter topics

I garantee if Zest or sOs had the same results that they would be hotter topics Star power is definitely a thing, but there's also just the boolean distinction people draw between winners and losers. Either you're the champion or you're nothing, and there aren't many reddit posts hyping the losers. Anyone not named soO finishing second just doesn't get much attention except as "the guy the champion beat to grab the trophy."
While Stats has placed highly in just about every tournament this year, only the most hardcore fans care about, or even notice, results like that. Stats is #1 in the WCS KR standings, but it's INnoVation (#2) who has gotten all the attention, all the hype, all the arguments for GOAT. Part of that is due to Inno's star power, yes, but more is simply because Inno has lifted four trophies this year to Stats's one.
When Tastosis screams about INnoVation being the best player in the world, being Mvp's equal, being the almighty machine of death and destruction, people tend to forget that Inno also dropped out way earlier than Stats did in the tournaments he didn't win. But since Stats didn't win them either, there hasn't been that same buildup of hype around him. People have short attention spans, and a nice clean list of shiny trophies is a lot easier to digest than a plethora of semifinalist or finalist finishes. Hype is as much a product of narratives as it is of results.

I am conflicted about this final, i really like both players and both possible outcomes would add something interesting to the scene/history of the game. Stats vs Dark is definitely a matchup which promises good games though so i will hope that's true tomorrow as well, may the better player win.

I would assume the Nexon Arena, since that's where everything SSL is held: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nexon_Arena

I just double-checked. SSL Finals will be on Sunday, September 24th at 2:00 PM KST, at the Nexon Arena. Tickets are available for purchase on http://www.ticketlink.co.kr/ if you know enough Korean to find them.
Nvm, I found them: http://www.ticketlink.co.kr/product/17055 A bit less than $3 for A-class seats, $2 for B-class, and $1 for C-class. The money goes straight to the players.
Hope you enjoy watching!
