I'd argue that almost going 2-0 against innovation is more impressive than looking strong against gumiho. I understand wanting Elazer though - he's waaaaay stronger in zvz (which is why he did better in wcs) and he's on a back of a championship so his mentality will be quite good.
Elazer is stronger in every mu, so he is the better choice. Scarlett is good and popular but Snute is also better. Do we want the best players to represent us as a team or what?

Scarlett is a better choice than Elazer as she is the better player. Elazer is better in ZvZ, but that is not that important against Koreans.

looking at the results, I'd say we do ^_^

Not a surprise, the voterbase was approximately the same for all six spots and 0.24 < 0.27.
On the plus side, perfectly balanced distribution with 5P/5T/6Z. David Kim wins again!

Was hoping for gumigod, he deserved it more than herO/ByuN/sOs
Hopefully with such a big prizepool sOs is motivated more than usual. He's only $25K of becoming the highest earning starcraft player

Is this to be some stupid tournament in which foreigners are to be battered coz selection is retarded? Please Blizzard.

Byun? Seriously? I'm very disappointed in sc2.

I believe they announced that the Ro16 would be 8 matches of Korean vs foreigner, if that's what you mean.

No Classic

sOs instead of Gumiho, seriously...
|
Name : GSL vs world Reality : without GSL champ
It`s comedy

I personally think GuMiho or Classic is deserved more than sOs to be there.
It could be the best line up of KR if GuMiho was picked as the wildcard.
As a Chinese wildcard for WorldAllstars, iAsonu is a great zerg who is ranked 11 in WCS Circuit but I don't think he is same level as either Snute or Elazer.
Both team are pretty much starting without their full best line up :/

Both team are pretty much starting without their full best line up :/ It's true that some top-tier players aren't attending, but let's be real, any one of the six players on Team Korea that aren't sOs/ByuN could likely solo Team World if they went serious mode.

OP is updated, thanks guys and congrats to sOs!
|
Could sOs get a wildcard for BlizzCon this year? Please?
|
wildcard to sOs...FFS
for what exactly did he deserve that?! no results whatsoever entire year if they wanted another protossthere's plenty much better choices. Not to mention Gumiho as obvious choice for wildcard...

better player? you living in 2012? because that is certainly not true in 2017 Elazer/Snute would've been much better choice than Scarlett for every single matchup
