Back for another season, SSL Challenge kicked off with four matches, highlighted by a meeting between  ByuN and  Rogue, the latter of which is showing his best form of LotV.
After going for a confounding double gold base 50 zealot do nothing build in game one,  sOs topped himself with by proxying two robos and making immortals. Bunny completely botched the defense, but, not to be outdone, he proxied reactored cyclones on Abyssal Reef to take one of the strangest matches in recent memory.
Impact's zergling flood didn't win him the first game against Zest outright, but it set up a lethal roach/ravager/queen push off three bases. Impact employed the same composition on Newkirk Precinct to overrun Zest's third, giving him his first victory of Challenge.
soO controlled game one with a committed zergling attack and sturdy defense, but failed to duplicate the effort in the next two games. An immortal heavy army earned Patience his first win, with a strong timing off three bases closing out the match.
ByuN opted for three rax reapers both times against Rogue and, while he failed to kill the Jin Air Zerg on either occasion, the opening set up his 2-0 victory. Rogue dropped game one when his roach counterattack fell flat on its face and, though he reached hive tech on Ascension to Aiur, ByuN's parade push was more than up to that task.

There was a moment when I thought SoS might have a decent timing just as charge finished. And then he waited to warp in another round of zealots. And then another 3 or 4 rounds. The moment, if there had ever been one at all, had passed...

oh yeah just watched the games. How was Rogue's response in game 1 ever supposed to work? if ByuN just goes brain dead and doesn't react at all? and his play against widow mines in game 2 looked like something out of early HotS
